“The property is new and modern and a lovely place to stay long or short term. It is worth noting that there is only street parking or paid undercover parking around the corner. There is construction on the building next door and if your room faces the street it can be quite noisy all hours of the night. We did enjoy our stay overall though as the property and facilities are really modern and stunning and the food is very tasty. There is also a more upmarket restaurant in the building in……

“Chic and trendy hotel. Very nice staff and always willing to help. Free valet parking. Area is probably a little more mixed - the hotel themselves don’t recommend walking on the street alone after dark. We just took uber point to point and we were fine. We would always see hotel staff/security so it felt safe enough. One small complaint - we stayed on 5th floor which is right underneath the rooftop bar and could hear some stomping. Could not hear sound from other rooms next door so that bit……

“Hotel reception is on the first floor of the building, which is served by a lift or you can easily walk up a flight of stairs (if you do not have heavy things to carry). First impression of Habitat is that it is modern and clean. My room was on the same floor as the reception and breakfast area. Initially thinking that it would be noisy but it wasn't. The room had all for a 3 night stay: kitchenette, fan, A/C, iron and a good shower. The bathroom handle however was broken, which apparently the……

“Conveniently located by shops and restaurants/ bars on Long Street, this hotel is clean and really nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicious, the beds super comfy, the bathrooms modern, and the rooms nice and quiet. What really stood out was how thoughtful and helpful the staff were — especially at the front desk. I've stayed here a couple of times now and can't wait to come back next year.”

“Everything was great. 1. Mainly the daily maintenance and stuff behaviour was so good. 2. I reached around 12 pm and the check in time was 3 pm, I requested them for early check in and they immediately gave me one clean room, thanks for that. 3. There are some good restaurants in the neighbourhood, so it’s convenient. I have some suggestions for the house though: 1. One exhaust fan in the toilet will be helpful. 2. The bathroom door should close properly otherwise unwanted smell from bathroom……

“We spent 6 day in another Hotel Water front Area. Best place to stay. We stayed 3 nights in this Hotel. The hotel is in the city Centre area, not safe to walk around the area in the evening. Water front is the best to Stay.”

“Spacious & clean room in a beautifully restored building. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Breakfast selection was adequate. Dined in the restaurant for dinner which was excellent. Only negative is the location, a bit far away from V&A waterfront & mall out the front of hotel felt a little unsafe at times.”
