「Unique property, can't beat the location for being central to everything walkable. Nice and quiet. Large rooms and roomy apartment. Well presented, clean, loved our stay. If we come back to Port Douglas we will definitely stay here! Thanks」

「From the time we checked in we felt relaxed… The outdoor kitchen was an absolute winner for us. I would like to do that for my own property down the line, - as well as the outdoor bathroom. The only thing I would change would be some of the lighting to a warm light, as there was quite a lot of blue fluorescent lights in the place which reduced the ambience - otherwise a top spot for exploring Cow Bay all the way up to Cape Tribulation. The beach a lovely stroll away - perfect distance to walk...

Sarah was quick to respond to any needs and gave lovely tips for where to eat and highlights of the area. Our favourite outer reef experience was with Wavelength. 「There are no words to describe the experience of staying here. The listing looked too good to be true. Even after we walked through door and checked out the surroundings, to the tune of cricket song, it felt like we stepped into another dimension so different from our tired, stressed-out reality. It is rare to find such clean, safe, first-world luxury in the middle of a prehistoric rainforest! And Jacquie thought of everything to ensure we were well prepared for our visit - she was so responsive...

「Three nights of bliss - we wish we'd booked longer! It was a beautifully relaxing few days after a busy couple of weeks in Cairns. The location is beautiful, walking distance to the beach. The kids enjoyed exploring the creek on the property, and it is close to other touristy places to explore. We saw cassowaries and a wild pig with piglets!」

「Newly renovated apartment with an amazing view. Small quiet complex where we felt totally relaxed the minute we took in the breathtaking views. Plenty of space for a family of 4. Superbly appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Highly recommend.」

「This apartment had great views and plenty of space. The quilts for the beds needed to be updated and maybe the photo's of the pool were not quite accurate. But this could be overlooked because the view from this apartment was second to none.」

「The house is very comfortable and well-equipped. We used it as a base to enjoy activities on Cape Trib - the Discovery Centre, walks, Reef trip. The house is further than we expected from dinner places, (except Crocodylus), with the Cow Bay Hotel now closed. So we did feel a little isolated. We walked to the exquisite beach a couple of times - an easy 20 mins away.」

「Newell Beach is the perfect distance from Port Douglas. Close enough to get to it when you need to, but far enough away from the crowds that it feels like your own piece of paradise. The house is wonderfully open and light with a huge deck overlooking the pool and beach. We had breakfast there most days. When the weather was less kind, the kitchen and living areas are huge and have pretty much everything you could want. I highly recommend it」
