“Front desk staff outstanding! ”

“The property grounds are lovely but everything was in need of maintenance and repair. My room smelled like years of stale cigarette smoke. However, It is my understanding that the entire property is currently under a renovation and my room had not yet been renovated. Pool was empty and needed a complete replacement. But because the 16 acres is otherwise so beautiful with a waterfall and stream running through it, I would give it another try in a year or two. ”

“The room air conditioner was far too noisy. There were ants crawling into the bathroom in the morning. The sliding glass door to the balcony was locked and blocked. We liked the new remodeled shower in the bathroom.”

“Very well, kept rooms very clean very organized. The staff was wonderful knowledgeable with lots of information about the area of Nevada city really nice property very short walk to the town of Nevada city very good insight about the restaurants bars hikes”

“Parking was in the street or behind the building- you can only park for 3 hours at a time. On our last day of our stay we had to have our car removed at 0830 because Nevada City was having an event- which meant we had to leave early. There was no communication from staff about this. The room was very expensive for no ice or coffee for the room and no parking convenience. ”

“Charming and well loved warm and detailed and comfortable. Because I booked 3rd party I didn’t receive vital info that was necessary for positive host/guest relations. Had info been received in timely manner and understood much confusion and frustration no doubt avoided (no fault of host btw, host was a victim of this disadvantage as well) Positive area, cozy and had above basic amenities. Elevated establishment with personal touch and considerable care. Perfect for a couple getaway. Beautiful……
