Very peaceful

We had a lovely time in the spacious villa. The garden and pool are private and not overlooked. It is very rural but still only a short drive to Dobrich or the beaches and restaurants at Balchik. Katya was very helpful and quick to answer any questions.

Superb in every way

Great rural quiet location 20 minutes from the sea and 15 minutes to town. The host was superb, very helpful and prompt communication, assisted by an in-country host who was readily avaliable should we need her. The villa is spacious, with a very secure garden (for our dogs). It felt very secure with solid access gates and internal alarm, we had nothing to worry about. The heated pool, air-conditioning and TV streaming services (Netflix) all added to the comfort. Use the locsl butchers in Sokolovo for BBQ meat, its very cheap. We had an excellent week and wouldve extended if we could.

Maison très confortable

Too far out for us

The property was a little run down. It was in a very isolate area so a car is a must. The house next door was in the middle of refurbishment so quite a lot of banging throughout the day and they also has a few dogs that barked quite a lot. There was only a 2 ring hob so it was quite difficult to cook a meal for 5. It was also very difficult to actually find the villa as we were not given the full directions before arrival. There was a consistent bad smell in the downstairs bathroom and the air conditioning unit leaked ( quite dangerous as the television and plugs were situated underneath ) The pool was quite large but extremely cold ( quite refreshing on a hot day ) There was quite a few pool toys that came in handy. If you are looking for something very rural, this is the place for you. Thank you

Villa Korona

Lovely villa to relax in and very quiet. Great private outside area with nice swimming pool which was regularly checked and cleaned. Good location for a number of beaches and places to explore. Car needed. Villa well equipped. Owner was very helpful and the house manager was at hand if needed. Would recommend to family and friends.

Bestens für unbeschwerte Urlaubstage

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub in der Villa Korona verbracht. Alles was man benötigt war vorhanden, das Grundstück und der Pool sind super und gerade für Kinder ein echtes Vergnügen! Die Kommunikation mit der Verwalterin hat auch prima funktioniert.

Absolute Ruhelage

Sehr nettes Haus mit tollem Pool in absoluter ländlicher Ruhelage. Hier kann man super abschalten. Netter, sehr dezenter Empfang. Einziger Nachteil, der Strand ist doch weiter entfernt.

Fantastic holiday!

We had an amazing holiday with family and friends at villa Korona! We enjoyed everything from the night life of Albena to relaxing in the sun at the villa and making the most of the beautiful views. Would love to go again!

Haus mit Pool in kleinem Dorf

Das Haus liegt ziemlich abseits gelegen in einem kleinen Dorf. Es ist ein großer Garten und vor allem ein Pool dabei, wenn jemand die Ruhe liebt und die 25 Minuten bis zum Strand kein Problem sind, dann ist das eine gute Option. Es gibt eine sehr nette überdachte Grillstelle, die fanden wir echt toll. Das Haus ist auch sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht (z. B. die Küche)

Einfach nur toll

Sehr netter Empfang, Begrüssungspaket im Kühlschrank (spitze) vor allem wenn man erst abends ankommt. Ausstattung gehoben, leider kein deutsches Fernsehen, aber wozu hat man ein Tablet. Für einen entspannten Urlaub perfekt. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

A wonderfully relaxing holiday, perfect for getting away from it all

We enjoyed a fabulous fortnight in Villa Korona with our three children. The pool and garden were beautiful, and the house had everything we needed. We made extensive use of the outside cooking area and BBQ for fantastic dinners, and ate apples and plums from the trees in the garden. The rural location of the villa was peaceful but near enough to Dobrich for supermarkets and cheap meals out, to the beautiful beach at Albena, and the marina and seafront restaurants at Balchik. We also visited the Stone Forest and Alazha Monastery which were both well worth a trip. A car was essential (we booked with George at Fusion Cars which worked really well, even with a delayed flight and a car pick up after midnight!). Even with an extremely late arrival we were met by a smiling face and a fridge with essentials so we were able to make breakfast in the morning. Kevin was very helpful during the booking process and answered all our questions very promptly. We would highly recommend Villa Korona for a restful, relaxing holiday and a chance to get away from everything. Just what we needed!

An oasis of peace and tranquillity

A real gem of place, ideal for those wanting to recharge their batteries or "chillax" if you're a former politician. If relaxation is about a safe, comfortable, quiet location, far from the madding crowd, in the heart of the countryside, then this could be for you. Don't expect bright lights, relentless bars and clubbing, neon-lights and muzak. There's none of that: no inquisitive neighbours or even agricultural machinery in the surrounding fields; just blue sky and birdsong and time to catch up with yourself. It really is that quiet. If you are interested in "being seen at all the right places", don't bother - nobody is there to see you and no-one is looking (although I suspect you will eventually realise)! Rather, this is highly recommended for more discerning families and groups able to make their own entertainment. The villa is well-equipped with a very pleasant, walled garden, pool and separate outdoor kitchen (incl. bbq), although any more than four adults and (max.) two children would arguably be straining capacity. We would happily return and will start compiling a reading list for future visits.

Lovely place for an amazingly restful stay

Really enjoyed the villa, the facilities are ideal and made for an extremely relaxing trip. Visited a few of the surrounding towns and cities, my favourite probably being Balchik. There isn't much in the village itself, other than the two local shops, but there are several supermarkets not too far away so replenishing stocks wasn't an issue. All in all really enjoyed the villa, the location and the very enjoyable family stay that we had. Would definitely (in fact I already have) recommend this villa. Sonny was very helpful on his visits to clean the pool, but also unobtrusive. The locals were all very polite and helpful, to a point that I will certainly be going back.

Super property fantastic outside facilities everything you need with wonderful caretakers

This was a beautiful property just like in the pictures it did not disappoint the team who look after you are wonderful and very helpful. Our favourite place place was Balchik 15 minute drive from villa lots of restaurants and things to do. Our favourite restaurant was the White House very attentive waiters and food delicious one of the most relaxing holidays we have had. Kevin the owner is incredibly helpful with information needed from car hire to directions. We will definitely be co I got back Kevin

relaxing family vacation

We have just spent 2 lovely weeks in Kevin's house in Pop Grigorovo. We especially liked the beautiful big garden with the pool. There are cherry and pear trees in the garden, a superbe swimming pool, enough deckchairs for everyone, and several opportunities to lounge and sit, as well as a state-of-the-art barbecue where our teenage boys used to grill our meat. The house was very clean, not too big with two upstairs bedrooms and a bathroom as well as a downstairs bedroom with an ensuite bathroom (for guests). Since the winters apparently get very cold and humid, the latter room tends to be a little smelly. Otherwise, the kitchen is well equipped, there are several TVs (that we did not use) Wifi works perfectly, and there are enough bath towels for 8 people. One has to really get along as a family, because if it is rainy, the house is quite small and the village is tiny... You need to take the car wherever you go. To Balchik it's a 30 minute drive, to the next Lidl/ it's 10-15 minutes. Varna and the airport are a 50 minute drive. Kevin was very quick in answering our questions, the couple who looks after the house was also very helpful and took us to see a vet when our dog had a health problem. Also they cleaned the house for an extra charge when we asked them to. For a family who needs to calm down this is an ideal and peaceful place to relax, if one does not mind the driving.

Perfect in every way!

Great house in a perfect location if you want peace, quiet and privacy. The villa had everything we needed in terms of space and amenities. The pool was a good size, and fun inflatables were provided too! The welcome pack was appreciated. Spent a lot of time just relaxing at the villa, but the location means you can be in Dobrich in 10 mins for shops, cafes and supermarkets, and Balchik in 20 mins for the beach and other attractions. We also enjoyed exploring the Black Sea coast north of Balchik. Had a wonderful two weeks, will recommend to everyone, and hope to return!

Beautiful villa in a quiet village but located near beaches.

The villa Korona gave us all home luxuries for two weeks. We enjoyed the whole space. The village is very friendly and welcoming with a lovely community spirit. We felt close enough to three beaches and water parks but a car is required with 3 children 14 13 and 11 we enjoyed albena resort. Thank you Kevin for a lovely holiday everyone has been so helpful and made our holiday all the more easier. A definite holiday escape.
