"Excellent location, cant comment on service as reception barely open. But we didn't need anything anyway. Stay was out of season visiting family, so pool etc closed. Looked very nice though. If in summer I may be concerned with lack of aircon. Walking distance to local beach with restaurants and a lovely friendly artisan bakery. "We stayed here because of the 4/ 5 star rating reviews , for us it did not stand up to portrayed as that. The veranda is very nice , but the bedrooms and bathroom has no natural light. Sophie and Denis are very nice hosts , and will help you in any way they can . The village of ASCAIN is very good for numerous walks , and you have a good choice of bars and restaurants , which is 5mins by car , and the coast is not too far away. The goats and chicken are lovely"

"This was a lovely apartment to spend two weeks celebrating our 50th Anniversary. Some of the highlights were the beautiful view, just steps to the beach, and walking distance to the yummy bakery, cute shops and great restaurants. We rode the train from the CDG Paris airport, walked the 10 minutes to the apartment and did not need to rent a car. The apartment is well-furnished and it was a pleasure to meet Bertrand. It was a wonderful vacation!"

"Het appartement is ruim en goed gelegen. Het ligt wel verder van de zee dan aangekondigd. Bij aankomst waren de sleutels nog niet ter beschikking (een half uur te vroeg na 1100 km rijden ..), dus nog even wachten. Het appartement was niet echt proper, veel zand en nog materiaal van de vorige huurder. Na afloop ook nog enkele onverklaarbare kosten. We hebben het ons niet al te hard aangetrokken, maar ik kom er niet terug."
