If you find reference to aircon in hotels.com I willl remove it asap. The information on hotels is accurate as we can tell and it is helpful when you choose your lodging. The 14 days a year when it’s hot in Valley County it’s still substantially cooler than Boise. Please increase your rating relative to the cleanliness and beds that you enjoyed. I sincerely doubt came to Valley County seeking air-conditioning so please don’t punish me with your rating.

Covid strikes again! Our staff got mixed signals and slept in on their sunday off, when there was no checkouts on friday when he left. Then Suddenly, but happily we filled up saturday night with one nighters. So with a full house I strapped on the cleaning gear and began cleaning. i assumed and was told the crew was coming on time, but it was miscommunicated. They responded and changed their plans and rescued me at two pm. You arrived almost noonish and checkin is posted at 4 pm. I checked you in and you went fishing. We have never had A/C and should not because the plugs are 15 amps. There have issues in the past with windows units scorching plugs. We state on line there is no A/C which 355 days a year it is irrelevant. Thank you for noticing the staff works hard for a clean product.

Thanks for your criticism. It is actually point taken. Your main bed was a $4000 select comfort. Sorry for the ussr error on not selecting the right settings. As for the wall outlets ,the room exceeds the current building standards. There are 2power strips in the room to address the number of options. I would have supplied additional strips. It appears you also failed to read the travelocity information regarding a/c. We have never had a/c units. Othermotels have them and are $25 to $150 more per night. Upon request we have fabulous Dyson A/C available for the 15 hot days each summer . We are conscientious as to the few guess who asked for them. I hope in the future you read the information available from your travel supplier and not have to comment on things that are not supplied. We are a comfortable motel in the mountains where it’s 50° the night you stayed here hopefully next time you will pick a property that suits your needs better

Thank you for posting I can't find you on our room register. But is you were in a room with 3 men then when you consume ALL the water there is a recovery time of about 20 minutes. Each room has a 45 minute water heater

When we refurbish the price would reflect the rest of the neighborhood at $200 plus. You came for OUR Winter Carnival week, where the rooms else where are doubled and tripled. I appreciate the bed comment which is what a motel seeks to provide." A comfortable bed". If you have noise in the future, you should inform the manager so we all can restore quiet. We are often commented as to how quiet the log cabin. By the way we are a classic log building, and it would be a crime to destroy a classic old log cabin Motel.

Thank you for your comments my apology for the television being difficult. My on-site manager has been ill but I kind of adopted him now because he has nowhere to go the room cleaner is fabulous and I’m glad he was able to help you. If you’re traveling again give us a call

Several TVs use two remotes And it must use the cable remote for most adjustments All operators love to help out on these situations Thanks for he input and staying with us

Interesting rating! Thank you for participating in the rating process. A number without comment is less than useless. It does tell about the traveler. It says nothing about the purveyor of services. We on the other hand extend our hospitality and seek to create a clean comfortable temporary lodging. We meet the goal 99% of the time you have a country roadside motor inn / Motel. We assume you wanted a $300 a night room with sterile white amenities. I cannot personally sleep in overbleached stiff industrial sheets. We have experienced all fashions of lodging and for a simple nights rest i do not want to wake with a chlorine headache. Our "antiques' were probably new when you decorated your first home ,but they are mainly from the higher quality of 1950's décor as the pictures on line show. Please consider rerating of as of what we project rather than what you expect from a chain motel. plus we are the the least expensive motel in 100 miles and was the only room available in all of out service area that night.

oh. ok I disagree with your mold statement. Everyone in valley have iron in our water and it is a constant battle to achieve white anything especially the shower curtains which we replace often. Valley county has a ,05 crime rate. What you expect indicate your fear of something that does not exist here. An openable window is normally a desired option that is becoming rarer due to unfounded fears that you obviously subscribe to. YOU should select the type of motels that subscribe to YOUR needs in the future. We are a comfortable p[lace to stay. We are not an industrial white washed corporate enigma.

We are a simple clean Motel. Your opinion is great, but not helpful and definitive to make any way. All any one knows is you purchased the least expensive room within 100 miles. Next time please reserve a room that matches your expectation not expect the room to satisfy your expectation. Yes mountain communities have iron in the water and we spend $1000 's annually combating the effects. Your bed was a $4000 select comfort air bed. The carpet is wool and is warm in the winter and irreplaceable for softness. We stream clean them weekly, AND CHEMICALLY sanitize daily. sanitizer stiffens the carpets. I purchased ozone and ultraviolet sanitizers at extreme costs. AND by the way YOU STAYED IN MY MOTEL FOR THE NIGHT. IF IT WAS SO BAD YOU SHOULD HAVE LEFT NOT BASHED A HARD WORKING AMERICAN OWNED BUSINESS TRYING TO MAKE IT THRU. Please tell all your friends you are not sincere about what you say in a review. I pray you are kinder, thoughtful and sincere in your future travels.
