「The property was clean and cosy, but the listing was misleading. The exterior photos showed a small house surrounded by green fields, whereas the actual accommodation was in a studio room behind a family home in their back garden. If we had known this beforehand, we likely would have booked elsewhere.」

「We were a party of seven adults and two dogs, visiting family and for birthday celebrations. There was plenty of room in the house and more than enough crockery etc. for our group. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the beach. We ‘practised’ walking to the Beach Bar on several occasions! Sheila was quick to respond to any queries. And we had two weeks of Irish sunshine. A lovely stay and we would happily return.」

「Lovely cottage - very comfortable and very well equipped. Perfect location for seeing the many beautiful locations in Sligo and south Donegal. Breege and Bernard are perfect hosts, property was spotlessly clean on arrival along with a welcome pack - which was much appreciated. Very easy to get to cottage, quiet and rural location. Fantastic walking direct from cottage, beach nearby. Just over an hour from Knock airport and if you have time don’t forget to visit Knock Basilica.」

「We stayed as a family with two children for one week in July 2025 in this cottage.Good:It’s a spacious cottage set in a well-kept, large garden with a clothesline. The location is great for exploring the coast, Sligo, and the Ox Mountains, and it’s very quiet.There are four bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen with a washing machine. There is ample parking space.The cottage was clean and matched the pictures. The beds were okay.The landlady lives next door and was very friendly;...

「Comfortable stay, K was great on helping us find the home. Instructions were clear on how to get into cottage and turn on water heater. I would suggest a coffee bar and light bulbs. I would stay again. K even checked on us」

「We were expecting the unrivaled scenery of Ireland. But to be able explore from a cozy remodeled police station was icing on the cake. Every room was clean and well stocked right down to the wood and coal for the fireplace. The hostess was warm and so helpful. We felt like we had known her forever. I will be recommending this property to family and especially to business clients that need a chance to decompress. THANK YOU SHIELA AND VRBO.」
