“My husband grew up coming to Door County with his family and I’ve never been, so he wanted to show me around for the weekend - and it did not disappoint. This property was perfect for a lowkey stay and was very reasonably priced. And while the cottage itself was in a secluded area, it was easy to get around the entirety of Door County from there. So as long as you’re okay driving around (aka there’s nothing walkable around), I’d definitely recommend this property!”

“Great location, beautiful lake view, quiet, and private! Convenient home base for traveling around Door County. Host was easy to contact during our stay. Nice to have a dog friendly option with a big yard. The listing mentioned a coffee maker which was not present, showed photos of extra hand towels/washcloths which were not available, and we only had access to the kayaks for the last 24 hours of our 3-night stay. Not the end of the world, but we would have appreciated a more accurate listing so……

The waterfront and sunsets from this property were stunning. The cottage was extremely clean and provided us with the necessities for a relaxing stay. Communication with Andre’ was first-class and learning about the history of this beautiful resort and the town was beyond our expectations. The location was great. “Loved the screened in porch. Very nice home, great view from the master bedroom. The only improvement would be to mow a path to the pier from the back yard and remow the path from the front yard to the pier. There was poison ivy on the path that was on the side yard.”

“We spent 3 nights here during Fall Festival. It was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The location was perfect - a short walk to a couple restaurants but not in the middle of all the Sister Bay festival traffic. Although we've been coming to Door for many years - Darla gave us some helpful advice on when to avoid the major crowds over the Festival weekend. Only thing that was a little disappointing was no fire allowed in the fireplace. I get it, it can make a mess and if guests don't……

“Spacious cabin right off of the Main Street in Fish Creek. So much space and feels like you’re in nature, while also being convenient to plenty of restaurants and the lakefront. Would recommend for a relaxing getaway!”

“The cabin was perfect! Very clean and comfortable. We brought our meals and the cabin had all the supplies we needed. We forgot plastic wrap and left over containers though, that would have been nice to have. The cabin was plenty warm for October and next time we’ll use the outside fire pit! Great location and easy to get to. We loved our stay. ”
