「Staff was excellent with helping us obtain transportation to and from the train terminal. They also helped arrange a last minute tour of the glass factory. Cocktails were very nice, not the largest selection, but well made.」

「Warning don’t stay here, this place had mold growing in the shower and wasn’t very clean. The WiFi and tv are none existent. The ac unit was also extremely loud, enough to wake you up! You could also hear the ac units of the other rooms」

「A bit far from St Marco. Check-in process was great and the gentleman was very professional. All perfect except for checking out. I booked a pickup at the hotel and the lady insisted that I walked 10 min away over to the taxi port with heavy luggage to meet the driver there. How could I tell which driver and car? I ended up meeting the driver at the hotel but why did I have to fight for that? 」

「The apartment was perfect for what we needed - great location a couple of minutes from Academia bridge, clean and nicely appointed. Whoever did the modernising was not a perfectionist in terms of finish! But everything worked well and we enjoyed it enormously. The support we got from administration before out trip was excellent and the staff at the sister Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace were absolutely delightful, friendly and helpful.」

「Very nice small boutique hotel with only 5 rooms. I like the design/deco a lot. Very close to ferry pier if you are from Rovinj. A little longer walk from the centre but it is acceptable. Quiet and clean room. Wonderful owner and staff. They are very helpful and responsive. I would certainly stay again.」

「The Two first days without hot water to take a shower. No blanket in one of the beds, it was cold we ask for a blanket that never came. Romans are getting used to mistreat tourists as the city is full of them. 」

「Pensione Accademia is a rare find—set in a beautiful historical building with lush front and back gardens, which is quite unique for Venice. It’s quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk to the Accademia vaporetto stop. Rooms are spacious and the air conditioning works well, though the shower doors could use an upgrade.」
