“Cottage as described. Adequate kitchenette with dorm sized fridge. There was not laundry facilities in the unit at the time of our stay. I had confirmed with VRBO prior to booking that there was laundry and was confirmed that it did. Please note that the bed has to be accessed from the bottom of the mattress as there is no room on either side to approach it. When I looked at the pictures on the site it did reflect this, so that was my error in realizing this. Other than the laundry……

“This clean, cozy place was perfect for a weekend getaway. Conveniently located adjacent to Jay Cooke State Park made access to trails for daily hikes a breeze. And communication with the owners is the best I’ve ever experienced. They were incredibly responsive and made helpful recommendations for restaurants, trails, kayak rentals and more. We’d definitely stay here again! ”

The property was fabulous and a great location with a few bars and restaurants within a few minutes drive with great food and takeout. The property was even better in person than in the pictures, and the owners were very friendly and responsive. Five stars and would highly recommend! We would stay here again next time we’re in the area.”
