Wonderful Condo

My adult daughters and I stayed 2 nights at this condo. It was clean, comfortable and in a safe, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed relaxing in the evenings after shopping and eating all day.

Great place, great location

Three of us stayed here for a girls weekend. It was very roomy, comfortable and close to all of the places we wanted to visit. The unit was exceptionally clean and stocked with everything we needed. Just a couple of minor issues - the daybed was very squeaky and one of the bedroom lights needed some repair. They could also use some new towels. But other than these very minor things, the unit was a perfect place for our girls weekend! It is a corner unit, so there is lots of light. It was wonderful having the fireplace as one of the evenings was pretty chilly. I would absolutely stay here again!

Nice place and location…terrible property management response.

The condo/location is nice. But I was appalled at the lack of response we received from the property management team. We discovered our first morning there that the coffee maker didn’t work. I reached out to vacasa (property management company) regarding this issue at 9:30 am. I was assured this would be taken care of right away, someone was going to bring us a new one that day. Needless to say that never happened. I reached out again that evening to request an update and still nothing! We never did receive a coffee maker so each morning we had to get up and drive to town for our coffee. Not something you want to do on a relaxing vacation. The joke was when we were leaving we passed the Vacasa office only a couple blocks away from the condo!! They could have brought a coffee maker anytime. We won’t go back to any property that’s managed by Vacasa!

The property was very clean and stocked with all the amenities you would want to feel like you're home away from home. Neighborhood was quiet but conveniently located to both Douglas and Saugatuck business districts.

Beautiful Condo in Douglas

We stayed in this condo for a short getaway weekend. It was lovely. Very clean and everything we could want or need. All the comforts of home and then some. The location was great. Easy walking distance into Douglas and even very walkable to Saugatuck where we enjoyed shopping and a late lunch. We also had a superb dinner at Borrowed Time in Douglas. Delightful! We'll return and would definitely stay at this condo again.

Nice stay.

Nice except the twin mattresses. Maybe fine for kids, but awful for adults. Noisy, saggy and poor quality. One room has no closet (it was locked for guest use) and no dresser or anywhere to store unpacked clothes. Also have to strip beds, throw towels in washer and take out garbage upon leaving. What’s the cleaning fee for?

Bad nights sleep

The house is nice enough looking on the main level but outdated and underfurnished upstairs. The mattresses were really bad. No particular charm to the place. Wouldn’t recommend.

Wonderful place, great location

Everything was easy about this place. Easy to rent, loved the code for the door so easy to get in and out. Very clean, lots of space. Very bright and nice views. Quick walk to Douglas shops and easy drive to Saugatuck. Would stay again!

Disappointed

Washer was broken. I realize it was a holiday weekend so they couldn’t fix it until after our stay but I was promised a credit to which I never received. Traveling with a big family and not having access to convenient laundry is a major trip derailment for us. Would avoid vacasa in the future

Beautiful location!

When booking, I thought the rate was very reasonable. However, what I failed to realize was that the Owners fee, Booking fee, Cleaning fee, Service fee and all the taxes would almost double the rate. That being said, the house was very charming, clean & comfortable.

Great Getaway!!

Quick Family get away! We had a great time, the condo was as advertised! Only issues were windows were difficult to open and the jets did not work in the jetted tub! Neither were downers at all. Jetted tub would have been great after the beach hikes! Would pick the same place again! Very Comfortable!
