"Le Aubergue de Tamezret is more than Unique , It is a whole experience in life . Located on an interesting small town of Tamezret , close to the famous Matmata . It is a must night stay on your trip to Matmata , who is famous for the Barbere’s underground and caves like homes. Patrick the Owner of the Aubergue is the perfect host . Full of details and very helpfull when you needed . An amazing person who loves to entretaing . The Dinner meals are not to miss , Delicious and Gourmet ,cooked by Savina ,Patrick’ wife . Served on a cave Dinning room in a table set full of details and great taste . And the rooms ; Comfortable , quite and very peculear in a beautifull way. We Will keep Le Aubergue de Tamerzret in our life as a place we will not forget ."

"I was worried with all the bad reviews, but this place was perfect for an overnight stop before going to the desert. It costs 20 dinar (~$6 USD) to park there overnight, however, the parking has a guard and roof so it is worth it. We also left our bags there. There is no wifi in the rooms, but honestly, I tethered through my Google Fi phone connection in most places in Tunisia anyway. Overall a good stay. "
