「A delightful cabin getaway with a gorgeous view of a private fishing lake. We enjoyed making fires and taking walks in the back. The cabin was clean and quiet, and evenings were not spooky with all the outdoor lighting around the place at night. Would love to return!」

「Nice getaway, designed for outdoor social, not very good for inside social, but we headed out to have good times with a quick game and a couple meals inside. Needs a tv in the small social area, could be on a small table. Could use a deep clean top to bottom but mostly it was clean and safe.」

We got to see turkeys, deer and listen to all the wildlife at night while enjoying a nice fire. The hosts, Linda and Doug were so welcoming and answered any questions we had. We definitely would recommend visiting this cabin and plan on returning for another amazing weekend in the future. 」

「This was the perfect spot to get away. My wife and I spend a weekend every year at a little cabin where we review our marriage and refocus. We always like to explore the area and Dowagiac was a gem of an area to go. Sage was our contact and he checked on us multiple times. We had one issue with our bed and he was not only prompt but he made sure to make it right. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.」

「We rented for a weekend, so we could get to know the local area. Sister Lakes is a nice area, consisting of several lakes, including Cable Lake (where the cabin is located). There were plenty of beds and the bathrooms and kitchen were well-updated. The screen porch was a perfect place to enjoy a time-appropriate beverage and the beautiful Cable Lake view. Easy check in and nicely stocked and furnished!」

「Fabulous time. Many water accessories offered which made it very enjoyable for our kiddos. Bring your fishing poles!! One of my kiddos pulled out 28 fish just from the dock! Super quiet back on the channel. Kitchen fully stocked and very clean! Downsides : No washclothes for showers. Bring your own. No ladder to climb out of water onto dock. No chairs at firepit. NO DATA and very weak wifi. Other than the few downsides which are minor other than the wifi it is a fabulous house and location....
