"Wonderful cottage, a real home from home x We had a lovely stay in the most beautiful location. We will defo be booking again. Only one grumble but partly my own fault, on the day of leaving cleaners waiting directly outside property, at 10.10, we should have been out for 10. So my bad.... Just felt a little uncomfortable and my son is autistic so he went into a panic. Which sadly ended a perfect week in a melt down x"

"Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book. Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. "

Location is superb if desiring to stay in Burton in the water. Beautiful, quaint town. Only complaint was lack of cooling. Luckily able to cool off at night with windows open. Parking is free but beware spaces can be all taken - it states 23 hours stay - no return for an hour, so be aware there is a car park attendant around! Cottage is within easy reach of the town and Abbey. A lovely stay"
