“This little boutique hotel is in a perfect location for walk ability to restaurants and retail in downtown St. Simons. The staff are nice and professional. I highly recommend Village Inn and Pub for your next visit. ”

“We stayed for 5 nights and our room was never cleaned. The room was very dirty. The beds were uncomfortable. The location was amazing.”

“Nothing about this hotel was right. The the way the pitchers look is not the way the room is they put us in a rodardy room. I asked for them to change the room. We're clean, they put us in another dirty room. That was smaller and did not accommodate what my reservation was. Then, I asked for the to just cancel the reservation and give me a refund. If they could not accommodate us. And they did not do that. We ended up spending a whole nother amount to go to another hotel and I have not heard……

“Yes, and a good flat outdoor walking area. Excellent and friendly front desk staff (heather) housekeeping and breakfast area staff. ”

“First off the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, we had to request clean sheets and change them ourselves. We were traveling with 2 dogs so I’m sure we were assigned the worst room. The breakfast was good. The evening check in was a bit odd. I believe someone was being trained but was not greeted or addressed upon arrival and they didn’t check my ID which I thought was odd. Staff were pleasant but not engaging. Hotel is older and needs upgrades. Good for a quick stay.”

“Room was dated and mold in tub and walls of bath. Curtains did not keep huge lights outside from shining into room. Dining table was dirty at bfast. Food was fine and plenty to choose from. As a Hilton Member this one was not a great stay and there are many more choices across both sides of hiway. Would not stay here again.”

“Extender stay for personal reasons. A great locación near everything in Brunswick. Clean, quiet, confortable room and staff was excellent.”

“Clean, spacious room with comfortable beds and pillows. Could not hear any cars or trucks but heavy footsteps from upstairs and people talking from next door. Free simple breakfast. The air conditioner was a bit loud. Hallway smelled like smoke but room did not.”

“The property is lovely. Despite being told it was heated, the pool was not heated. (I did not find this out - until after checking the temperature with my hand, and asking the concierge/ front desk to turn up the temperature. Only then did they find out by calling maintenance that the pool heater was not working). There was no mention of when it would be fixed -if ever. ”

“The receptionist was sleeping in a chair at 5 pm on arrival. She posted a sign that they were sold out and only got up when I told her we had a reservation. The rooms floor was filthy. There was no clock or telephone in the room. The TV was barely working and there was no guide. We should have left. ”

“I would have like to have been able to swim in the pool. I asked before I booked and was told that the pool would be opened. Unfortunately, this did not happen. There was also construction or remodeling going on in the building. I would have liked to know this in advance as well. Had I been privileged to accurate information, I would have made another choice.”

“There was a great area for the shower with bath items already available with A working AIR CONDITIONER WITH A NICE BUSINESS TABLE AND PROFESSIONAL SETTING, AND I RATED THIS GUEST COTTAGE INN A 10.0 RATING ”
