“This was a beautiful, quiet location. The property is along a dead end finger in the lake making the water calm for kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. The water was bath water warm. The hosts were so very nice and accommodating and can catch some huge catfish. The upstairs living space wasn’t a high end place to stay, if that is what you are looking for. It was charming, comfortable and peaceful and just what we needed to get away. We would visit again.”

It was not a problem at all. That may be a little different on a weekend, idk. Overall I'm happy I picked The Funky Little Shach to stay!”

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We do an annual vacation with family at Lake Barkley Lodge, but due to it being closed this year we had to look elsewhere. GTB was a great fit for all our families to fit in two houses that were next to each other. The only thing I would say is……
