At night, the illuminated Dragon Bridge is among the most wonderful sights in the city. See the body of the dragon arching over the bridge in a variety of bright colors. Note that construction of the stylish bridge was completed in 2013, with a ceremony of high-profile politicians to celebrate the anniversary of the city’s liberation in 1975. The bridge is 2,185 feet (666 meters) long and has six lanes. Admire the dragon, which locals are said to believe represents power, nobility and good fortune.
The Dragon Bridge is in the central part of Da Nang, providing a link across the Hàn River from Da Nang International Airport. It is often used to reach My Khe Beach and Non Nuoc Beach.
