“Lady at front desk was super nice. Wish I had asked for her name. Booked through Expedia and it listed a sofa bed which we needed with 5 people in our room. No sofa bed. Was told they don’t have any rooms with a sofa but there was a roll away cart. Was maybe from 1976. Haha Shower curtain was dirty. Hair on the bottles that hangin the shower. Carpet always seemed to have a sticky wet feel in the room. I feel like these are minor things and can easily be fixed. A clean shower curtain and removing……

“I stayed at this hotel for one night while traveling to Myrtle Beach. Within a few days, I developed multiple clusters of bites on my arms and ear. The reaction became severe enough that I had to visit a doctor, who felt the bites were consistent with bed bug bites. What should have been a relaxing family vacation has instead involved medication, discomfort, and constant worry about whether I may have brought something home with me. I hope management takes this seriously and thoroughly inspects……

“For the top hotel in the town, ir didnt justify its rating. Whilst our room was ok, we were told had we booked direct instead of through a booking site we would have had a better room. There was a very nice bar on the roof terrace but had no access for guests with disabilities. You could not make bar purchases without a means of immediate payment. You could not charge to room. The breakfast serving area was cramped and had a very restricted choice. The tables were left uncleared for quite a……

“The room and property were dirty. There was an unclean odor and vibe overall. We stayed here due to limited options with graduation weekend at Virginia Tech happening the same time we had a wedding to attend. Our bedspread had a red stain on it. The carpet had several white stains strewn in different areas. The chair in the corner was stained and filthy. We didn’t use it at all. The overall condition of the property was dingy. “Staff was excellent ,breakfast was excellent rooms were excellent, pool walls needed a desperate cleaning and jacuzzi wasn't working,outside landscaping needed better maintenance.”

“The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The bed and pillows were comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. The only issue was the air conditioning which left the room and everything in it feeling damp and uncomfortable while trying to sleep.”
