other side of the tetons
really enjoyed Driggs and Victor Idaho, away from the craziness that is Jackson Wyoming these days. Overall, cabin was good, very comfortable. However, the bathroom, while a large footprint, has an awkward layout. the small round bowl toilet is behind the door, there is a tub, and a seperate tiny shower, long counter top, only one sink, and the lighting is awful in there. all the windows were left unlocked, and the sliding glass door would not lock for first 3 nights we were there. house manager took a couple of days to get back to me on that. it got fixed for the last night we were there. i only rated it 3 stars on listing accuracy because you only get that view of the tetons if you go outside and walk to the edge of the property. there is a large landscaped island with trees right in front of the house that obscures the view from the living room... no teton view from inside the ihouse. i would recommend.some tree trimming is in order. But all in all, cabin was good.

Beautiful Location
Location was gorgeous. Amenities were nice. It’s a long drive to get into the National park, back and forth over a mountain with a ton of construction. No air conditioning made for some hot sweaty nights. View was beautiful.

Thanks for your feedback. Yellowstone is 1.75 hours away and the Tetons are about an hour away as stated on our listing. We do not advertise AC, the nights are usually cool enough to open the windows and cool the home down. Thanks for staying with us, glad to hear you enjoyed the views.

It would be great if......
The biggest problem was the windows. They advertised great views, but you had to be outside to enjoy them. The windows were so dirty and smeary that you couldn't see out of them. The upper windows were full of cobwebs. The light over the bathroom vanity flashed like a strobe light. We literally couldn't leave it on. It would not have been a huge problem as there was a window that would have let in tons of light, had the blind worked. These are such simple fixes. Overall, the rest of the place was great. Nice linens, the kitchen was amply stocked, the furniture was comfortable, and generally everything else was clean.

Stunning Views/Quick Response Time
Beautiful views of the Tetons. The property manager was quick to respond to a minor electrical issue. It was fixed in no time. The beds are not super comfortable, but decent. There was only one trash liner and one roll of paper towels allotted for the entire stay, so be sure to buy/bring extras.

Misrepresentation of Saddlehorn Cabin
First of all I contacted the emergency contact name and email, Leah Haapala, on Friday at 7:22pm after dealing with these issues on my first night. Although, this was not an emergency, I did expect to receive a response from someone that day, or on Saturday, However, I heard nothing from anyone. As of Saturday, I called the #888 number associated to the property rental company and left a message regarding these same issues I checked in late on Thursday night, as my flight did not get in until after 9pm and we did not arrive here until after 11pm. Upon accessing the home, I was slightly disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. The outside had a well maintained lawn and very kept up but there was bird poop on all chairs, tables and the swing outside, which I would have expected to have been cleaned off prior to check in so that renters could enjoy the outside seating. When my mother and I walked into the home, there were moths everywhere. It appeared almost as if the property was cleaned months ago and had not had renters in it for quite a while, as it had been closed up for some time, hence the moths and the cabin. We spent a good portion of the remaining hours of the night and early morning, swatting moths to kill them from flying around and dive bombing us while sleeping.; a lot, not a few. In addition to the moths, there were spider webs/cob webs in almost every corner of the house, dead moths in the door tracks, and even crumbs left under the kitchen table. I am thoroughly disappointed in the price I paid and the lack of cleanliness of the home. There were even dead bugs/moths in the chandelier hanging in the main living area. Don't get me wrong, this home is in a very nice and quite neighborhood and in a prime location, is well furnished, and has all of the additional amenities that one could take advantage of. However, I am saying that the cleanliness of the property leaves much to be talked about. As Saturday progressed forward, and we did not hear from anyone, we got home again late at night, and the same thing happened again. There are holes in the screens, which causes the bugs to continuously fly in. We spent hours, yes hours, trying to kill them all while trying to relax and get some sleep, since we did not sleep the night before. Saturday, Sunday and Monday night turned into the same...very few hours of sleep, while fighting off the moths flying in. In addition, the listing does not mention no AC. Unacceptable

Thanks for your feedback. I will take note of your concerns and pass them on. The house is not advertised with AC, as many of the homes do not have it. Unfortunelty, this time of year we have a lot of moths, we do our best to keep them out. Make sure you close all doors quickly behind you. We have continuous renters and throughly clean after each guest.

The property is amazing!! It is secluded enough to enjoy a peaceful night relaxing but close enough to make a quick run into town!!! It had everything we needed if we wanted to grill or we could grab a pizza. I wish we would have brought a bike to ride or fishing poles to do when we had downtime. I have told my family how beautiful it was !!!!!1

Perfect!
Saddlehorn Cabin is perfectly located to visit so many of the beautiful areas in and around Idaho and WY. Plenty of space for our family of 4 with all the amenities. Waking up to a view of the beautiful Teton's is a treasure and we would most definitely return to Saddlehorn the next time we visit the area!

Beautiful views of Grand Tetons
This property did not disappoint, beautiful views, modern log cabin feel, 40 minutes from Jackson Hole, close to Yellow Stone and Grand Tetons. It had a cozy feel, beds slept well, wonderful great room for our family to sit together talking about our hikes. Minutes from downtown Driggs with nice dining options. We ate at the Warbird Restaurant located at the Driggs airport for our last night, amazing food and pleasant atmosphere. Staff was very friendly.

Beautiful and close to Jackson
The property was beautiful and the view was outstanding. The rooms were comfortable. Very easy access to the surrounding towns and especially to Jackson, WY. Nice stay
The neighborhood was quite. Location was good went to the Tetons 45-60 minutes away and Yellowstone 1:45 multiple times. View of the western side of the Tetons was great. Might have your cleaning crew clean the picture windows they have a film on them. Overall would do it again.

Beautiful spot and nice home
We really enjoyed staying at saddlehorn. The accommodations are quite comfortable and the setting is beautiful. We really enjoyed the wide open spaces surrounding the property and the sunrises and sunsets there are fantastic. It is close to Driggs which is a cool town and convenient to everything. We hope to return someday.

Great Stay!
The location of the cabin worked well for us for fly fishing. Beautiful views. Could use a little TLC but is well stocked, nice furniture and comfortable bed. The management was very responsive.

This is a hidden gem. Great location for seeing the Teton mountains and visiting yellowstone.
The only down fall was when we arrived there was no toilet paper or paper towels. Good thing we had some tissues. Also the whoever used the grill let it very very dirty. We had to clean it and there was no brush. Which we kindly left the one we bought. Other than that great stay.

Clean, comfortable, and beautiful!
This was the best experience we've ever had renting a house. The Saddlehorn Cabin was perfectly clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and there were several fans - so helpful for sleeping. To top it off the views were gorgeous and we really enjoyed sitting outside for sunrise and sunset. Thanks for providing outdoor seating! It was magical.

Great views, large space
This is not a cottage. This is a small log home with all the amenities but A/C. But the nights were cool and the breezes kept the home comfortable. It has a large bathroom and a step down living room. The covered patio was a great place to sit and lookout at the Tetons. The town itself has a large grocery store, a health food store, two hardwares, and a drug store/ soda shop. Quiet living, starry nights, hot air balloons were the norm.

Very comfortable and clean home
This was a perfect place for me and my two friends. The house has a great view of the Tetons and a quick ride into Driggs, which is a great little town. Traveling to Grand Tetons National Park is a beautiful drive.

Spectacular views
This review is for the Grand Teton property, not the Driggs Saddleback, as the reservation was changed by the management team while we were in flight to the location. The Grand Teton property is lovely and the views are stunning. We would definitely stay again. It would be helpful to have a book of check out requirements on site so that it was not email dependent.

Clean, Beautiful, does not comfortably sleep 5 adults
The property was very clean, in a great location, and had BEAUTIFUL views all around. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The property manager was great. The biggest disappointment was the description on the website that the property sleeps 5 adults with three beds and "other: comfortable leather couch/futon. This was only a couch and not a futon that lays flat to make a small bed. We were a family of 5 adults and one person had to sleep on a couch in a common living area for 4 nights which was very disappointing. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and experience and made the best of the sleeping arrangements. This would be the perfect cabin for 4 individuals; however, I feel advertising a couch/futon (which is only a couch) as an official bed for an individual is unfair.

Gorgeous and tranquil
This place was outstanding and the view just as beautiful as the pictures. The location is lovely, 5 minutes from the shops/restaurants of Driggs and 10 or less from Victor. It is about a 45 minute drive into Jackson hole and the entrance to grand Teton but the drive is beautiful through the mountains (pretty dark at night but there’s a decent amount of traffic to have plenty of light from other cars). The communication with the property manager was excellent, available within seconds by call or text. Your front yard also faces east, so exceptional sunrises with the sun coming over the mountains of grand Teton! Highly recommend.

Secluded getaway
The property is beautifully nestled in a quiet neighborhood with the Tetons in the background. Unfortunately, it was a bit of a drive to get anywhere. The photos of the nearby rivers and creeks for fishing were at least 30 minutes away by car. There also wasn’t wasn’t much to do when we were at the property- no indoor or outdoor games.

Mind Refreshing
The photos on VRBO for this property are exactly what we saw when we arrived. It has a front row view of the 3 peaks of the Grand Teton's and although it is located in a neighborhood, the neighbors are a good distance away that it gave us a feeling that we were in a peaceful, secluded cabin. We spent most days exploring the Grand Teton National Park which is about an hour or so away from the cabin, and also Yellowstone National Park which we drove about 2 hours to the West Gate. Driggs is a nice, quaint place and the nearby Exxon gas station/convenience store became our (normal priced $1.09 or so) morning coffee/hot chocolate run , as well as hash browns (early bird gets those), and the employees at the Exxon were super friendly. We were a little surprised by the $3 small coffee at the Provisions Local Kitchen. Broulim's grocery store was very nice and had loads of choices and since I'm a fan of organic foods, I was pleased to find produce, kombucha drinks, and other options that I'm used to buying for my family at home in Pennsylvania. I contacted the onsite caretaker about the grill being out of propane and she was super nice and had an exchange delivered to the cabin the very next day. My husband and I really enjoyed staying in this cozy, beautiful cabin and if we ever have the chance to visit the Driggs area in the future, we'd love to stay in this cabin again.

Cozy Cabin With Awesome View
This little cabin was very cozy & comfortable. The view of the Tetons was amazing. The area was nice & quiet. The house could use alittle TLC in some areas. The little Town of Driggs was great too.

Great location
This cabin is in a great location to visit Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. Driggs is a cool town-great coffee shop and restaurants. The cabin feels isolated even though it’s in a neighborhood. Great Teton views from every point in the cabin. The listing says the cabin has air-conditioning but it does not. We also had a problem with mice during our stay. Even though the property manager was very responsive with all questions and concerns, the rodent problem was not resolved while we were there. We’ve stayed in many cabins over the years and I’m surprised more was not done to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Needless to say chasing mice in our bedroom had a negative impact on our relaxation and did not help our family sleep well.

Good...
We enjoyed our stay. Nice view of the Tetons, quiet area. The weather was a bit warm, and the house didn't cool down much until late at night, with all the windows open - could benefit from some ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Some things were in disrepair - doors, windows, screens. Fairly well supplied kitchen, which we enjoyed. The listing advertised internet (which was unusable during our stay), and television (no antenna or satellite, not able to watch anything). The host was nice, and helpful.
