Welcome to the "The Oakland"! Nestled in the serene countryside of Drumheller, this newly renovated retreat offers three bedrooms of comfort and style. Just moments away from the Royal Tyrrell Museum and Dinosaur Provincial Park, it's an ideal getaway for explorers seeking adventure and history. Whether you're a family looking for a cozy escape or a group of friends eager to explore, this beautifully decorated farmhouse promises a stay filled with warmth and memories waiting to be made.

This home is located on a very quiet residential street in downtown. The street provides large mature trees and charming historic homes that were built in Drumheller’s “coal mining era”. Neighbours and residents always smile and wave as you pass them by and will make you feel welcome to the area!

Very happy with our stay, kitchen area was excellent for meals, stocked well (pans, utensils, kettle, coffee, new appliances, spices). Beds were very comfortable, cute spots for the kids to play, decorated beautifully. Hosts were friendly, easy check in and out. No additional fees and amazing price. Would absolutely return!

Unfortunately we weren't impressed by our experience starting with the fact the door lock didn't work well and we were not informed of the issue. The initial view of the house was great but soon to be disappointing. Whomever renovated this home was not a professional, the whole house is on a slant. We could not enjoy natural light from the large front window as it is filthy dirty!! The caulking in the shower is very poorly done and the shower door almost fell off and was very difficult to get back on line. Lots of beetles and flies in the house!! We wanted to use the backdoor instead of fighting with the front door but it would only lock from the inside. The dishwasher had dirty, smelly dishes in the very top rack and we were unable to get the dishwasher to work. Luckily we didn't plan to have guests over as the back yard is in no condition for entertaining. The upstairs with extra bedrooms in nice but very dangerous for children or elderly to climb or descend.

Convenient little spot in Drumheller

It was great having a place super close to downtown Drumheller and Freson's groceries. There was a wealth of kids books and we had a ton of fun playing the classic "Guess Who"The house was well stocked, the yard and barbecue were great, bedrooms were clean and comfy.The only downside was the house was VERY hot during our entire stay, to the point the upstairs bedrooms were unusable on 30 days. They did have an AC unit, it just wasn't quite installed yet so shouldn't be an issue for future tenants and the host was good about working with us in light of the tough conditions.
