"We loved our stay at Sniderhaus. The set up/space between the main house and smaller cabin was perfect for our larger group! The lot is gorgeous, with panoramic views of the lake & islands nearby. The kitchen had every cooking vessel/utensil we could possibly for preparing meals and everything was spotless. The house has 2 full baths which was so helpful (1 more in the cottage). And the living area is big with lake views, cozy seating and huge tv-great for gathering as a group to unwind, read, nap, or watch Halloween movies together. The kitchen table is expandable and has plenty of extra chairs to pull up for meals or games as a large group. Tess reached out several days ahead of our stay to make an introduction and provide directions. She was very available for questions before and during our stay, especially when the weather called for gale force winds one night/day! We were VERY impressed with this property and hope to stay again in the future!"

"We were greeted by Jannette who was so welcoming and helpful and had cabin next to Dan the GM who gave us several ideas of things to see and do. The view was incredible and the stars at night just awe inspiring. Lovely spot and very comfy. Had dinner at Pins with terrific pizza. Really a great stay!!!"

"The room was very clean upon arrival. Accommodated for service animal. We had no reception with Verizon at this location(fyi). Make sure to follow directions in email received after booking. There was an on site trash can, fire pit with wood benches around, and a charcoal grill with grate scraper. The propane heater on wall kept it warm for the fall weather."

"The cabin is exactly as advertised nestled between old cedars and spruce, it is very fresh and clean. It even has a power inlet if you bring a generator. This is your ideal way to enjoy Michigan, get away from the noise, leave the phone behind, and sit around an evening fire listening to the crashing waves of Lake Huron. Bring charcoal and enjoy a meal on the grill. Big Shoal Beach is a short drive away if you plan on a swim or collecting water. The road is quiet will an occasional passing truck. Wildlife is everywhere and you can bird watch simply on the front porch. This is a gem on the island and a perfect getaway."

"This place was very clean,queit and tranquil. The views were outstanding!! If you want a quiet and relaxing getaway, this is the place to go. The neighbors are friendly and most people wave at you when you're driving the island. My only complaint is that the beds are a bit harder than what I'm used to. Another good point is that they have hot water on demand which is amazing! I would definitely recommend this property."
