I had a truly pleasant stay at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. The service was excellent from start to finish—every staff interaction was professional, warm, and accommodating. The hotel was spotlessly clean and maintained to high standards.
I had a minor issue with the air conditioning in my room, but it was handled promptly. The team provided a portable chiller and a complimentary meal voucher, which I appreciated. It’s rare to see that level of responsiveness.
What stood out most was the flexibility at check-out. Though the standard check-out time is noon, I asked to extend until 1 PM. They inquired about my flight and plans and generously allowed me to stay until 4 PM, which made a big difference to my comfort.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the Marriott Bonvoy points policy. As a loyal member, I was disappointed to learn that I wouldn’t receive points because I booked through a third party. In previous years, I’ve done the same for trade shows and still received my points, so the lack of consistency was frustrating.
Still, this is an excellent hotel and I would absolutely stay here again—just through the Marriott site next time to ensure my loyalty benefits are honored.
