The housekeeping staff mistakenly threw away my envelope enclosed with 1400 USD equivalent cash. At first I thought the staff stole it as I went out for business during the day and left the envelope on the lamp table. the Assistant manager fervently denied this allegation instead of doing more to help me, so after the altercation I decided to seek official help. I wanted 3 hours at the Police Station in Sharjah and finally they police came to my rescue. A big thank you to the Police force of Sharjah, because without them I probably would not have recovered my money.
After immense pressure from the Police of Sharjah, the HR manager ( the Acting Manager) came and finally discovered my envelope enclose with money was 'accidentally' thrown away by the housekeeping staff. Now, I have talked to many people about this, but I will assume it was in good faith that the Hotel was able to recover my money instead of first colluding to steal it and finally with intense police pressure cave in to returning the money to me.
At any rate, I thank both the hotel and the Police Station of Sharjah to help me recover this money, and for a pleasant stay here at this hotel
