The location was perfect for us and the staff members were so friendly and helpful. Great restaurants in the area within walking distance. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Our stay at Buswells was adequate. The best part of this hotel is the location, right in the heart of Dublin and steps away from all the tourist attractions and hip neighbourhoods. However, the rest of the hotel experience was pretty mediocre. The room we got was tiny (Comfort Double is a rather flimsy euphemism for cramped and uncomfortable). The headboard of our bed was damaged and flaking, the “view” from our room was non-existent, the air circulation was extremely poor and made the room feel incredibly hot and stuffy. The hotel room was pretty pricey and didn’t even include breakfast. Other than the location, I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay. It’s perfectly located near Grafton Street with tons of shopping, restaurants, and pubs within a short walk. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The bartender and bellman gave us fantastic recommendations including a short pub crawl that ended at a nearby pub with traditional Irish music which was a highlight of our trip. It’s a gem of a hotel.
