You are staying in a VRBO that looks like a hotel. No one is going to greet you or help you at the desk. Once I figured that out the room was fine and I really liked the neighborhood. We didn’t have a car and the bus system to town was great.

When we arrived we could not get any access to the property or the room. Got access to the property when somebody came out. Then we found we had to email the company to get our room number and access codes. Other people had the same problem. Not good enough as we should have had this information before we arrived. Better instructions for parking - where AND how to park - people park and block your way in dont like the sink outside the bathroom the shower drain was blocked/water filling up mid shower - tray not deep enough towel refresh should be a given - too onerous to email ahead every day asking for fresh towels would be good to have spare towels/pillows balnkets etc too also the bed moved around too easily-wouldnt fix it in place necessarily (just in case soemthing rolls under and you need to move it) but bed kept sliding

No 9 Rathgar was an unpleasant experience. The pictures did not accurately depict our room. There were bugs, hair from previous guests and stains on the sheets. I have pictures of it all. Do not recommend staying at no 9 Rathgar

limited amenities. A spare key to our room was left outside our room all night on the windowsill. Lighting in the room wasn't great. No one to speak to at the property about anything.

This property was absolutely disgusting, hair on the floor, the shower didn’t drain and water splattered into the bathroom, the drain was broke and the plug for it was sitting in the tub full of hair. We had to ask for more towels, they gave us two, didn’t go very far when you’re mopping up water. There was an open package of crackers on top of the microwave and three cans of beer in the dirty refrigerator. Blow dryer didn’t work, nor did the coffee pot. We knew there was no air conditioner, however the window opened about an inch, we were uncomfortably hot, it was an absolutely terrible experience. Pictures do not reflect an accurate representation of the property. Very disappointed.

HMO type setup. Half a toilet roll supplied. Had to walk to local shop in the morning to buy some. Sink blocked and very slow to drain. 'Reception' completely unmanned. Massive cobwebs. Hand wash supplied for 'shower gel.' Comfortable bed, decent shower. Overall NOT what we expected for the premium price we paid. Booked ahead due to oasis concert so paid mega bucks but saw it had reduced it's prices to a quarter of the price last minute. Wouldn't return
