Very close to Temple Bar and all the amenities of Dublin and easy to walk and get the bus to the airport. It is loud outside, but this does stop after midnight. Expensive for what you get.

Considering its location in the Temple Bar area, from our room the noise level was surprisingly minimal. We didn’t need the ear plugs that they provide. There’s nothing really great about the hotel itself except the staff are nice and the hotel is in a great location if you’re there to party at the local pubs and music venues. Housekeeping did do a good job making up the beds and provide clean cups etc. Overall it’s a clean comfortable place to stay and the staff are good.

On this trip we visited England, Scotland and Ireland. Out of the 6 hotels we stayed at, the Temple Bar was the best. Great welcoming staff at the front desk. Rooms are very nice and quiet. Location is fantastic. Price was very good value. Even maintenance was fast. In room fridge wasn’t working. I called the desk and in 10 minutes a nice lady was at my door with the option to quickly replace my fridge. Ended up extended my stay here.

Although hotel was conveniently located, it was not convenient for sleep. We got very little sleep during our stay. There was either loud drunks yelling or other loud activity outside the window all night long. The hotel actually puts earplugs out for the guests. Would not recommend if you value sleep.

Location is second to none for tourists. Right in the middle of the temple bar area. No parking at the hotel but a large multi story across the road with special rates for the hotel. Large doors close of the car park at night so fairly safe. Still my preferred hotel even after 10 or more stays.

Checking in was terrible. There were several Hen and Stag party groups checking in at the same time andthey seemed to take priority over a couple checking in. If we had been told to come back later, we would have gone to get some lunch, as it was it 1 hour, 15 minutes sitting in the lobby to get fully checked in, even though the process was started, the person “helping” us jumped into helping the larger parties instead of us. I had to complain at the desk to get into out room…

Temple Bar hotel is located in the heart of the area. Easy access to everything around. The hotel is very clean and we received excellent customer service. The staff went above and beyond to help. Only issue is that we needed another bedside table.

I did not like we were not able to check in early. I travel a few times a year and I have always been able to check in early until Temple Bar Hotel. I also did not like that we had a room facing street and it was really loud. Maybe if they could sound proof glass? But, overall it was a good stay and staff was very helpful at suggesting places and directions.

This hotel is in a pretty touristy area, which was fine with us, though I could see how some might find that to be a drawback. We liked the wealth of taxis and ATMs that could be found in the area. We also liked the closeness of the Tesco for drinks and snacks to take on our adventures. It's right across the street and open until pretty late. The street is a little loud, but they provided ear plugs which made it a non-issue. I would recommend that travelers who need silence to sleep use the provided ear plugs, or bring their own. We bought the breakfast package, which was actually fantastic. The food is pretty good, it's an open buffet, and having one meal a day already accounted for did save us some money. Bruskers, the attached restaurant, was not particularly good, I'm afraid. We appreciated the discount but it was still expensive for food that was only "okay." We went to Bruskers more often to use the ATM than to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed was blissfully large and comfortable. Everything was clean, and the shower had good water pressure. Overall a great experience, pretty much perfect for our needs!

I have stayed here multiple times. Unfortunately it’s gone down hill. The room is dated, worn and in need of updating. The shower was weak, toilet flush was rubbish and the cleaning team weren’t very good. They topped up and changed towels but nothing else. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again at the prices they charge

I could not of asked for anything more. I spent my birthday here and Jennifer could not of done more to make this super special. Thank you so much!! The noise is bad. The hotel itself is really nice.
I agonized over booking this hotel when planning this trip. I ultimately chose it because of the proximity to everything and because they had rooms with two beds - a double bed for the parents (us) and a twin bed for our daughter (age 7). I read reviews about the noise and just hoped for the best. But the noise was actually terrible. On weekends, it doesn't stop till 2 am. Weeknights, every single weeknight, it goes till midnight. Even earplugs don't keep the noise out. So here's what I suggest after staying here 5 nights: If you're coming to the Temple Bar area to party and stay out late and be part of that scene, it's the perfect hotel for you. If you plan to sleep earlier than midnight, avoid this hotel. One other thing. I had read reviews also about the water issue in the showers. And we did experience it. Each shower we took, scalding water would suddenly spew from the shower head about 10-12 times. It's actually quite dangerous. You have to jump out of the way to avoid being burned. My parents were also there, on the 4th floor, and didn't experience this. But for our room on the 3rd floor, the shower situation was scary with that hot water. Hotel really needs to get this fixed asap. Other than those two issues, it's great. The staff is wonderful, the hotel is super clean and comfortable and spacious. I wouldn't stay here again b/c of the noise, but for people just looking to party and hang out late, this hotel is a great option.
