「Host is attentive to issues and is very communicative. As other reviews have mentioned the check in and out process is a little over the top. The AC is shut off after each renter so be prepared to arrive to 85 degrees and have to wait for the house to cool down once you turn on at check in if staying during hot weather.」

Lots of nice touches…snacks, popcorn machine, wood for outdoor fire & supplies for s’mores, breakfast foods available, etc. Owner very responsive, polite & easy to work with. Only complaint about the house was it needed a good deep cleaning. I’m sure it’s hard to accomplish this with the few hours they have between check out & check in. We did have issues with the listing on VRBO - when booked (almost a year ago) the listing did say events up to 50 people....

「We were in town visiting friends with family. There were multiple adults and we had a dog. The property is exactly as advertised. It is beautiful with white linens and it was extremely clean. We didn't spend time at the pool because we were visiting with friends, and it was rainy outside, but the pool area looked very nice and the property owner had just recently improved the deck. 「This historical home is beautiful! Very nicely decorated and comfortable, while retaining the elegance of a time gone by. The grounds were well maintained and the home is located in a peaceful neighborhood. There is a very good restaurant on the next block. Excellent communication from the host Donna. 「We loved the cabin and our small dogs loved the fenced yard where they could roam without a lead (they are city dogs and always on a leash when outside). The only disappointment was we could not access the sandbar because the river was above flood stage our entire trip. Was very relaxing to just nag out and read! The kitchen is very well appointed.」
