Summary:
De Spot Guest House is located at the entrance to the Old Town in Dubrovnik at Pile Gate. The guest house consists of 3 private rooms with private ensuite bathrooms and is a fresh and comfortable base for you to explore everything that Dubrovnik has to offer. Walk the wall, explore the old town, swim in a secluded beach or take a daytrip to the nearby sights from this centrally located base.
The Space:
The rooms consist of a queen bed, flatscreen TV, open wardrobe with hanging space and a private ensuite bathroom. All rooms have double glazed windows, privacy shutters, shears and air-conditioning. There is a shared terrace to enjoy the afternoon sun, as well as a shared mini kitchenette with fridge, coffee maker, kettle and toaster for preparing a light breakfast.
Apartment 1 is located on the ground floor and is slightly larger. Apartments 2 and 3 are up 2 flights of stairs and slightly smaller.
Guest Access:
Guests will have complete access to their private room as well as common areas of the property. Check in will be available from 3pm, unless arranged prior.
The Neighborhood:
Pile is a laid-back coastal area fringed by rocky Danče beach, popular with water-polo players. Fort Lovrijenac, a clifftop medieval fortress used as a film location in “Game of Thrones,” hosts summer Shakespeare performances, and the 16th-century Pile Gate leads to the Old Town. Locals and adventurous visitors dine on Croatian seafood dishes in easygoing restaurants and sip rakija fruit brandy in casual bars.
Getting Around:
Pile Square is a short 2 minute walk from the De Spot Guesthouse front door. There you will find the main bus stop, taxi rank convenience store and restaurants. The entrance to the old town via the Pile Gate is 3 minute walk from the De Spot Guesthouse front door. The airport at Cilipi is a 25 minute car journey. There are airport shuttles also available.
