“We booked a room with balcony and stayed for 2-night. The room has a very comfy design and is maintained in good condition. Everyday they arrange room clean-up. The Scalini Palace is located in an excellent location, very close to the Main Street, taking us just a few steps to Stradun. It’s esp convenient if you want to take nice photos of old town in very early morning. No lift, same as many other hotels/apartments in the old town, so you have to walk upstairs to the floor you stay.……

“The apartment was lovely and well appointed. Gorgeous view. The grounds however leave much to be desired. Broken glass, trash, cigarettes and crumbled cement. The listing said breakfast was included, but this was a stand-alone unit. There were no mention or instructions on the availability of breakfast at another location nor any vouchers provided. We asked for a refund for the breakfast and their response was that we should have asked. Obviously they felt no responsibility to……

“The property is a combination of hotel, apartments and villas. Very nice amenities including pool and beach. Food and drink good but expensive. Bartender at grill was super cranky- took some talking a get a glass of ice several times. Also, I tried to get a cup of coffee one morning in the restaurant and she told me it would be $18 Euro - full breakfast or nothing. What?? We enjoyed the space in the villa and the views were nice. “民宿在很陡很陡的陡坡上所以風景一覽無遺的美還可以看到日出。有很多專屬的停車位。床架很弱只要動一下就吱吱嘎嘎。廚房清潔度有加強空間。房東沒說二天換一次毛巾。沒給垃圾袋也沒說垃圾要自己倒，連住三晚積的垃圾到退房也還在。自駕前往最好先在大型超市買齊，因為附近只有一間小到不行的雜貨店。”

“The apartment was amazing. High ceilings, lots of space, very clean and well equipped. The apartment is also bang in the centre of the old town which made it easy to get around. Hosts were very fast at responding as we had some issues with hot water but they replied to us quickly to help fix it. However there are few things to note if you're thinking of booking this apartment: The apartment is above a takeaway shop and lots of bars and restaurants so it is LOUD until about 11pm - midnight……
