I really can't say enough great things about this location. Brad was SUPER responsive and very helpful with information.
The location was PERFECT if you are looking for something super remote to get away from it all and unwind, yet have the most modern amenities at your disposal!
I did overestimate the size a bit and would say this location is ideal for up to 4. Anymore, it might start feeling a bit crowded if the outdoors are not readily accessible. (Rained a good portion of the time) Even so, it was still such a great and relaxing spot. We roasted marshmallows, checked out a few trails nearby, and chased after my dog who wanted to go introduce herself to the deer that come out in the morning.
Instructions to getting there can be a bit intimidating at first, but once you figure it out it's pretty straightforward. Due to the road being unpaved and going slower 5-15 mph, it can feel like a long drive to go a few miles, but I promise if you keep going you'll get there!
Also, to those who claim 4-wheel drive is needed. It's not at all. (obviously, based on weather conditions. If you are driving through a canyon with flood-like rainfall or snow, well... That's just a given.) Most of the road leading down is dirt with little to no rocks, with a few sections that are much rockier, but mostly small rocks that don't require any sort of high clearance or special tires. (Wouldn't suggest bringing your lowered Impala...)
Oh! One last thing - I haven't been camping or stayed remote for quite some time, so wasn't fully prepared. While this location offers almost everything you need from a convenience aspect, make sure you plan your meals and bring what's needed accordingly. We, unfortunately, did not and while the closest shop is about 40 minutes away, its selection is small, and that time is much better spent enjoying your stay!
This is easily one of my top favorite places to stay and hope to make a trip back soon!
