Very clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast had so many options and was really good. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Clean, close to sights and shopping gorgeous views from the property in cluding lake side sunrise, decent breakfast. Needs updating. Loud heat cooling fan, very noticeable door room slam from other guest rooms, one of my lake view room windows was obscured because of window gone bad. I did ask if others available but there wasn't anything better suited; one being a ground floor looking out to a public patio and the other a city view.

Our king room only had a view of the asphalt roof we asked to be moved, second floor lake view. Unbeknownst to us because we used a 3rd party to make the reservation we couldn’t change rooms. I used the system from their site… anyway we were able to change rooms but instead of king to 2 queens , nice! it was our anniversary.

Everyone was super pleasant and helpful except the gentleman cooking breakfast on Sunday August 31st. He was rude to multiple people, vs the gentleman serving breakfast on Saturday, August 30th who went out of his way to be happy and friendly. As a business owner we know when it's time to cut the cancer out of your crew, and that guy has to go or he'll cost you clients. The rooms were very clean. The views were amazing. The pool and hot tub were clean and warm. The hot tub was a little over chlorinated, but it only seemed to bother my eyes and not the other 4 people in there. The breakfast was very good. The convenience of staying in canal Park and being able to walk to a lot of places to shop and eat was the best part. We will definitely see here again.

It’s all good except 2 things: the walls are just paper thin- we could hear the ppl next door talking at a normal volume. Also the price is just crazy for what you get - but I guess that’s Duluth now

The Canal Park Lodge is perfectly located for all things in Duluth. The view of Lake Superior is breathtaking. And the staff is top notch. Breakfast is one of the best you will find. And the brewery is next door!! Absolutely a perfect stay at Canal Park Lodge. I will definitely stay here everytime I'm in Duluth.

Great hotel and a great location! The room was quiet, clean and the beds were comfy. The pool and hot tub area was very clean and spacious. The location was perfect. We were able to walk right out to the beach to throw rocks in the water and we were right by the lake walk which was convenient to walk down to the Lift Bridge (around a 10 minute walk) to watch ships come in. We enjoyed being close to Canal Brewery, Caribou coffee and Pizza Luce, which were all short walks from the hotel. The free warm breakfast was great as well and had a lot of options. Highly recommend!

A central hub with expansive lobby, breakfast area and lakeside lounge with lakewalk patio- even a gathering nook overlooking the lobby! Generous amount of common space for gathering to socialize- great for multi family meet-up! Features classy upscale lodge decor in mission style that’s comfortable and cozy. Pool and hot tub area were top notch. Fitness area and equipment were well maintained. Rooms were large with all the right accommodations. We’ll be back!

Great location and friendly staff! Walkable to everything great views! Asked for a fire outside to watch the sunrise and staff was quick to accommodate and even looked up the ship schedule for us. Would definitely recommend!
