Nestled In The Woods
We had a great stay at Wildwood Cottage! This is one of the most organized, clean, and well laid out Vrbo properties we have stayed in. The attention to detail was immaculate and the cottage was super cozy. Amy and Rita were great hosts and we can’t wait to stay again!

Amazing experience
This property was private, clean and well prepared! We loved it so much, we were happy to stay there rather than go out! It is quite a way from town and we LOVED it! Best place we’ve stayed so far. Definitely going back again-our hostesses are wonderful!

Enchanting Cabin Retreat
This cabin is a pristine gem nestled in the woods. The open floor plan ensures a communal feel, making cooking and dining experiences truly interactive. The living room's fireplace is a cozy touch, perfectly complemented by a vast, plush couch. But the highlight has to be the mesmerizing trail leading to a breathtaking river waterfall. There's something truly magical about a foggy morning walk there. Highly recommend for a rejuvenating getaway.

Girls hiking trip
4 friends from TX and ND who love to hike decided months ago that the Northern Shores of Minnesota would be fun. We found this on VRBO and thought it looked right for our group. It was perfect! So clean, quaint and well stocked. We would definitely recommend it to any friend!

Cottage in the woods offers rest and rejuvenation
Newer construction is very well maintained. Enjoyed exploring unique decor. Plenty of open space with high ceilings. A perfect get away for 4-6 people. Easy check in and out. Owners close if needed. Outdoor space for fire and gas grill, we used both. Linens all good quality. The walking path to the Sucker River shouldn’t be missed.

Awesome stay!
We cannot say enough about our stay at Wildwood Cottage! The cottage was beautiful and everything in order when we arrived. We loved taking the walk down to the river and enjoying the peace and beauty of the area. It was a perfect spot to stay in the middle of all the places we enjoyed visiting. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

Fall Family Getaway
Lovely home in the woods, great for a family getaway. Good location - close enough to various attractions if you are looking to get out and about, but also nice for just some quiet down time. This was our second stay at the cottage and we will rebook again in the future. Thank you to the hosts for sharing their cottage.

Cool Place
Tucked into the poplar and pine woods this gem is cozy and spacious. We discovered the nearby river and waterfall, with pools for a swim and a spot to just sit and watch nature. Our hosts were nearby and helpful. This is our third stay.

This cottage checks ALL the boxes!
We absolutely loved our stay here. The owners are amazing and responsive, the cottage has everything you need in the kitchen, the place is very spacious and the bedrooms, baths and beds are just wonderful. I cannot say enough good things...but we would definitely stay here again. There is a nice trail down to the Sucker River, a perfect fire pit for an evening outside, and close to an amazing restaurant (The Scenic Cafe) as well as hiking up the coast and time in Duluth as well. We hope to return.

Beautiful property with all the comforts of home
The house was clean, organized, and well-stocked with everything we could possibly need. It was even better than pictured, I loved the decor. The owners were friendly and helpful. We will stay here again if travel brings us back that way.

Another perfect north shore getaway
We have stayed 3 times at this property. It is a perfect quiet and secluded spot, with great hiking options nearby. The cottage is obviously well cared for and beautifully furnished. This is a favorite spot for our family to come and stay.

Beautiful & Cozy Getaway!
This is one of the best VRBO's I've ever stayed at!! Photos do not do the home and property justice. Everything was clean, updated, organized, and well taken care of. The surrounding land was gorgeous and fun to explore! It was a perfect spot for my 30th Birthday weekend getaway, we will definitely be back, already looking at a winter trip up there!

Country Contemporary
Quiet, comfortable, and well cared for. Our experience here was just what we wanted. The home is newly built and very well equipped. The furniture is new, the kitchen has everything you need. There is a great campfire ring and plenty of wood provided for lots of fires. The beds are very comfortable. Lake Superior's lakeshore drive is near as is Duluth and all it has to offer. Being a guest here is "no worries."

The prefect Duluth Getaway
I absolutely love this property and it’s owners. I’ve never stayed at a place where I felt so much at home. They provide basically everything you need for your stay. The home is clean and absolutely beautiful. I really enjoyed the details they provided about the checking process and tips for the area. This will always be our go to spot for our weekend getaways to Duluth.

Great location and stay!
My family of 6 (my husband and I and 4 kids 7 and under) stayed here recently and it was perfect! The kids loved that they were greeted with freshly baked cookies 😍 it was the perfect size for us, a great cozy feel! The older kids loved exploring outside - the teepee and short walk to the waterfall were both big hits! I wouldn't hesitate to book this if you are looking for something out of the city but with a short drive to Duluth!

Oasis in the woods
We had a marvelous time during our stay. The kids loved running around the property, napping on the couch by the big window, and we adored the distance to/from all of the surrounding communities.

Great venue from which to explore North Shore
Our stay at Wildwood Cottage was great. The cabin is very well equipped for guests. There is a complete kitchen with dishwasher and a fine array of cooking and baking utensils, extra blankets available if you need them, cleaning supplies and laundry also available. The three bedrooms worked well for our four grandchildren along with Grandma and Grandpa. The Sucker River was a big draw for our tweens. The hosts treated us to cookies the minute we walked in the house. If anything was missing that might’ve have been advantageous it would be a picnic table outside.

We couldn’t have hoped for anything more. Home was even better then we expected. The beds were so comfortable. Something I worry about when staying away from home. Kitchen was supplied very well. Great rental in The North Shore
This cabin was super! Loved how it offered every amenity you could want. Lots of extras such as throw blankets and pillows made it super comfy. One of the cleanest rentals I’ve stayed at. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

One of the best equipped kitchens we have utilized at a cabin. my wife is fragrance sensitive, and this property did a great job eliminating fragrance sources. The trails back to the river were wonderful! It is a beautiful setting.

The perfect woodland cottage!
Fabulous place to stay. Amy checked in with us shortly after we arrived to see if we had any questions or needed anything. The property clean, well maintained and the beds were so comfy you just didn't want to roll out of bed. They had absolutely every thing you would need. Will definitely come back and stay longer. A wonderful place to stay!
We had never rented a vacation home this way and we couldn't be happier with this as our first experience! Clean and beautiful! And the hosts went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us! Our kiddos had a little incident in the water and as soon as we returned to the cottage they brought us over supplies and were so helpful when we needed it! We would 100% stay here again.

Amazing location and cabin
Spent a long weekend with my son, his wife and my two grandchildren and we had an amazing time at Wildwood Cottage and the surrounding area. Went to Two Harbors and spent the day with my grandkids shopping and enjoying the waterfront and lighthouse. We went to Gooseberry Falls and swam and enjoyed area. The next day we drove up to Gooseberry Falls again, to Silver Bay and up to Grand Marais. Wouldn't recommend driving past Silver Bay if you have children because it's not worth the drive. Went to see Split Rock Lighthouse and enjoyed the sites all around the area. I would highly recommend this cabin as it is in the center of Duluth and Two Harbors and easy to get to. They had everything you needed and the kids loved it. The fire pit was a plus as we roasted marshmallows and made smores and popped popcorn on the open fire. Finally, the walk back down to the river was beautiful and the kids loved everything. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Home away from home
We really enjoyed our stay! This property is just a short drive out of Duluth nestled in the woods with convenient access to highways! We wanted the solitude for special family time, but also easy access to the tourist attractions. We made most of our meals at the cottage using the very nice gas stove and grill! During our evenings we would take hikes, make smores on the fire, and watched movies. We were lucky enough to watch a fawn walk slowly around the cottage as we sat in the house! Amy and Rita were so wonderful to work with! Our first night we came in late, so they made sure the lights were on for us! We would love to stay again!

Wonderful stay
The cabin set up was perfect for us and infant daughter. We stayed in the front rooms and my parents stayed in the back room with their own bedroom. We brought a sounds machine to drown out any noise for the little one during nap time and easily went up to gooseberry falls, into Duluth and too the shore line multiple times.

Peaceful stay in the middle of the woods
Amy and Rita are great hosts. Very nice rental, supplied everything, very clean and peaceful. Will stay here again when we are back in the area. Came with 6 adults, it was perfect. We used the gas grill and fire pit a lot. Stream a short walk down the path in the back yard. Thanks Amy and Rita!
