“Cottage is in a good position overlooking the river and what is really good is the secure rear garden for letting our dogs out, a terrier and an escape artist aka a beagle.
The cottage had everything we required and was clean, comfortable and had a great shower.”

“A delightful rural cottage with private parking, private garden but shared space for socialising with the other holiday cottage next door.
Clear instructions for arrival and access plus a warm welcome from the owner who lives nearby.
Clean and well appointed character furniture. Cosy bedrooms with some storage for clothing and luggage, good kitchen amenities and welcome tea, coffee, milk and eggs.
BBQ available in summer and log stove for winter.
Would definitely return or recommend.”

“Our Christmas at the cottage was lovely. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage was so well maintained and clean. Had enough space for our party of 5. There was no wifi but did have weak mobile internet so we got by with that. We actually enjoyed being technology free for a couple of days. Lovely walks with the stream just behind the house was idyllic. The housekeeper was very helpful and was prompt with queries despite it being Christmas holidays. Nearest shops were in Castle Douglas……
