“The location and area are wonderful. The property COULD be a gem, but it is in terrible disrepair. The house inside, while perhaps not outfitted for people who cook a lot, is decent. But when we checked in, the exterior was a shambles. Grass half cut and lawnmower left on the sidewalk, gardens not weeded or cared for, pool cold and dirty, hot tub not working, and not clean, no propane tank for the bbq, the dock in disrepair to the point of being dangerous. “Lovely resort with beautiful views. The bathrooms in the hotel rooms are small, stand up shower only. The room itself was nice, balcony facing the water with chairs and a table. Perfect spot to have morning coffee or enjoy dinner. The resort does have a restaurant - we arrived about 230pm on a Tuesday to see that they had closed early due to running out of food. Not sure if this is something that happens often? Was disappointing but we had brought snacks and food with us so made do with that and……
