We enjoyed the spectacular views, a walk down the road to the pond (and up again!) and some local sightseeing. Carl was very easy to touch base with and it was obvious he and his family have a beloved home here at Peace on the Mountains! Thank you for sharing it and providing all the basic necessities - we just provided the food and the company."

"We were coming from NC and were meeting family here to stay with to attend my aunt Funeral . Cabin is very cozy , very clean and well kept . We really did not stay in the cabin long . I wish we could have been able to stay there for a more getaway trip . It would be a perfect cabin to stay . The fire pit was nice. We brought some wood to use one night we were there . Cabin is very well insulated so it stayed nice and warm inside ."

"We really enjoyed our week at this cabin. It had all the luxuries - hot water, well equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds - that we were looking for. Plus it had a beautiful, private covered porch for relaxing. And free wifi to plan our biking. The location was fantastic, perched on a hillside in a quiet rural area. Within 10 minutes, we could drive to the Allegrippis trailheads and Raystown MTB skills park. We were able to ride the whole trail system, in a few days due to warm weather and...

"Planned this trip to walk the 1000 steps standing stone trail as a sisters weekend. The owners are amazing and super friendly! Get folks to chat with and learn about their property. "Ideal for both fly fishing and family gatherings with friends. I can't image a better setting. Great house and outdoor socializing area. We found fish in-spite of less than ideal fishing weather. Great place to get reacquainted with many of our best friends who live in the area. We were able to get away from our hectic daily routines without have to back-pack into the deep wilderness. We expect to be back!"
