The room was dated but spacious and as shown in the photos. The reception staff were kind and attentive, which was appreciated. However, there was significant noise in family room 43 during our stay (1 night). It sounded like water running through the pipes or a boiler, and it was VERY loud. The noise appeared to stop only after all guests in the hotel had finished showering and started again in the morning, which made it impossible to sleep. The receptionist came to take a look and mentioned that the boiler had been restarted and that this might have caused the noise, but the issue continued even after the restart.

Very comfortable stay and helpful welcoming hosts. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. We had a good night's sleep and the room was very clean.

I stayed here whilst working away. The place is very clean and modern; everything looks brand new. The other review states the bed was too hard; I found it to be extremely soft. I’m wondering whether one side is harder than the other as it’s basically two single beds made into a king. The owner was friendly and helped show me round. I will definitely stay again next time I’m working in the area. The only thing I would say is with all the modern appliances in the room, a full-sized ironing board, shelf in the shower (having to bend down with lower back issues is a pain) and a non-stick frying pan would have been welcome additions.

Stunning location close to the beautiful village of Bradford upon Avon , quiet location with easy parking and lovely local walks around .The shepherds hut is delightful but is in a field where the owners at time graze cattle for their beef business and it does attract a lot of flies which are discomforting and sometimes bite , installation of fly screens would prevent this and the addition of a fan to cool down the hut would also be helpful as it is recommended to keep the doors and windows closed a lot of the time to keep out the flies
