“We booked for a sibling birthday retreat- traveling from Texas, NC and Va. The house was quaint, comfortable ( chairs on porch not so much- would have liked rocking chairs as advertised as the weather was perfect for spending time there). A few electrical glitches typical for older homes-plugs in guesthouse were wonky and couldn’t seem to get enough light. “September 6-8, we had a great time at Roger's cabin. We came specifically to take the train ride in Cass. The cabin was very nice, clean, comfortable, roomy, had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch which had a gate to keep our dog from wandering. Also had a zip line leash for dogs, and water bowls. We noticed no fire wood there, so we didn't use the fire pit. Perhaps because it's been so dry there. We had some confusion about which driveway was the correct cabin, but……

“We were visiting Marlinton, WV to bicycle ride the Greenbriar Trail. This house was perfect as you could ride to the trail within a few minutes. The house is also close to restaurants and a bike shop. The bed was very comfortable. The bed and bathroom linens were excellent. There is a cute kitchen with all the equipment you would need for a meal. Also chilled mugs for your beer. Overall we had a great stay and will be recommending to our friends. ”
