“I cannot see why anyone would choose a chain hotel if a room at the Grande Magnolia is available. Our weekend in Benson, NC was exceptional due in large part to staying at the Grande Magnolia. “The establishment was clean and close to our destination however; the front desk clerk at night was horrible. He was unprofessional and rude. I went to the desk because one room key did not work, and the other took numerous attempts to open the door. I approached the desk, the clerk (bald Hispanic gentleman) looked at me from the corner of his eye, and did not acknowledge my presence. He continued checking what appeared to be emails in the system. Eventually, he asked, "What do you need?" I……

“I was a little worried when I saw that there were smoking rooms available but our stay was very pleasant and it was clear that no one had ever smoked in our non-smoking room so I was very happy overall! The staff were nice and helpful as well! I would certainly stay again and recommend to anyone looking for clean and affordable accommodations!”
