“This was such a fun place to stay at! There was plenty of space in the house and parking was easy. We enjoyed the cows/sheep. Everyone near the property and Lorraine was super sweet”

“This is the perfect cottage to explore Skye. Ideal for a family of four. We slept well, the shower is good and every thought has gone into this self catering accommodation (not one but two hairdryers, sharp kitchen knives, dishwasher tablets, treats!). We arrived with everything we needed food and drink wise (I recommend you do as well as it's a drive to the shops) but also ate locally at the inn which was fine and lively. There's an excellent playpark across the road and a pottery. ”

“We loved the apartment- it felt like home away from home. The views of the ocean and surrounding mountains were breathtaking. We really loved the location- it was very quiet, we had access to a small grocery store right down the road, and were close to many of the top spots to visit on Skye. We also loved meeting our hosts Tricia and Neil, who were very kind, helpful, considerate and friendly. We will definitely be back! ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Tides Uig. The pictures do not capture how beautiful the view is from the home. We also loved the daily visits from the local sheep. The space was perfect for multigenerational group. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We also appreciated that basic supplies that were provided. The location was perfect with just a short drive to many locations on Skye, but away from the business of Portree. We had a wonderful dinner at the Uig Inn and two locations within……

“Beautiful 4BR home with plenty of space. Located near town center this home is perfect to use as a base on the Isle. Plenty of space for multiple cars. Wonderful restaurants nearby. But do make reservations as they can be busy. We would definitely stay at this home again in the future. ”

“Our stay here was perfectly timed in the middle of our trip, giving us the peaceful place to rest and recharge...not to mention wash clothes. It's modern with all amenities, beautiful and with tremendous views. All we would add would be a couple of hammocks and it would be perfect. Thank you for sharing it with us!”
