"A very nice place in a great location. It's very clean and has all the conveniences. And it's close to the center of the city. The issue I had is they didn't send me the code to enter my room before I arrived. I couldn't reach them via email or watsapp, only a phone call worked (and the responder only spoke Portuguese)."

"I cant say enough good things about this place and the customer service that i received. The pictures show exactly how the place look. Its sparkling clean, really comfortable and quiet. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need. Now i wont look any further any time i have a trip to Rio. Another plus for this property is the doorman: they are also amazing and really helpful. I never been so happy to stay in a property like i was at this one. For sure i will be booking again."

"AVOID! This place was an absolute nightmare! Ants, roaches, and bedbugs all over the place! When I arrived, the place was unclean from the last guest and the hotel did not care. There is no front desk. BEWARE: It is in the favela and very dangerous even during the day! The pictures are deceptive. I left before my booking ended. You could not pay me to stay here again! "

"The PROPERTY was as described, the LOCATION was convenient and the PROPERTY MANAGER was a joy to work with. Marcos went above and beyond out of his way to make sure that any worries I might have were taken care of. I needed an early check in and an extra day due to flight issues and he accommodated me. When my code to get in th e room expired, I called him and he reset it on the spot. I will definitely look for an availability here when I return."

"This is my second time staying here. It is clean, pleasant, and reasonably priced. Most appreciate that it is in the touristy area of Santa Teresa and near LAPA. That is nice too. There's also a great view of the center from most rooms. My only minus, which isn't tied to the place, is that if you're out late, it can be difficult to get an uber up into the steep hills of Santa Teresa. Most taxis will though."
