“Great location! Such a beautiful area to walk around — the Animas River Trail is amazing to have so close, especially with the botanical garden right along it. “We really enjoyed our stay! Check-in went smooth and was pretty easy to find even in the dark as we arrived pretty late! Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The pool/hot tub was awesome and all the mountain activities were a blast. We will definitely be back. Thank you! ”

“We had a wonderful time at the Durango Hideout. The house is located in town (about a 15 minute walk to the shops/train/etc.), yet has a secluded private feel to it. “This home was ideal for our Colorado vacation. We appreciated the cleanliness and spaciousness of the bedrooms. We cooked in the stocked kitchen often and easily. In addition, we loved being in a cozy, mountain neighborhood which had a quick drive to downtown Durango, the grocery store, and the river. It is also less than 30 minutes from Mesa Verde and Purgatory Ski Resort. Geoff, the host, was accommodating and easy to reach when I had questions prior to or during the trip. I would recommend……

“The location is perfect for going into Durango and also accessing the trails for hiking, and other mountain activities. Excursions to Ouray, Silverton and even Telluride can be accomplished in a day.The house had everything we needed and very clean. It is an older home that's not perfect but extremely comfortable.
