Duras Duras Castle Hotels

"The property was a welcoming place after staying in a small apartment in Dole. The owners are two real gentlemen and I have thoroughly enjoyed their company. And so has my dog, who loves them! The accommodations are nice and completely adequate, including the kitchen, living room, and bedroom furnishings, and linens. The location was excellent for me because each day there were the numerous small streets at the Chateau Duras, less than a mile away, to walk with my dog and enjoy strolling through the shops there. It is very quiet here although there is a busy street behind a huge, almost solid row of trees hiding the street completely. The plantings and lawn suffered from the prolonged heat spell, but being a gardener, I could tell the surrounds were well cared for and contributed to the delight of this getaway. "
