The property is dated and in dire need of renovation. One would expect a much better hotel from the Hilton chain. Definitely not a good reputation for Hilton. Sheets and towels can definitely be replaced with new ones.

Worth it

Great location, minutes from the airport. Top quality bfast and the Asian Restaurant is good quality. Rooms were clean, and uiet and spacious.

Sophisticated H Hotel

Upon arrival, the lobby and interior design of the hotel is grand and beautiful! The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The spa price is reasonable. The room was spacious and comfortable. However, housekeeping of the amenities of the room was not consistent. One of the towels had brown stains, on some days I got 2 bottles of shampoos instead of body wash and another day my dirty coffee mug was not replaced with a clean one. In addition, one of the rubbish can was not emptied. Besides these issues, my overall stay was pleasant. I was surprised that it was so near to the airport, but going downtown was a bit troublesome with the need to change buses. The benefit is that it's near the airport and the disadvantage is it is far from the city centre.

After a week of sleeping in yurts and basic guest houses across Tajikistan, it was amazing to check into such a comfortable hotel! The front desk staff were amazing, the room service was prompt, and the food was delicious. The property is guarded, and there is a cool gift shop, as well as a bank on site. It used to be a Sheraton and I was told it is in the process of becoming a different globally recognized hotel chain. Not sure when I will be back in this part of the world, but if I ever am, I will stay here again!
