「Check in easy, location fabulous. Bed comfortable - we slept really well - must be the sea air! The extra touches for our furry friend were spot on - doggy bowls and doggy treats were most welcome. Only very small gripe - we could’ve done with bigger towels but overall what a lovely break we had. 」

「Suitable for our weekend locally. Unfortunately there was an issue with the bathroom drains which sent a sewage type smell around, if the bathroom door was closed then it was fairly isolated to the bathroom, but if you wanted to enter the room to use the loo, shower or brush your teeth then we were all retching. We were told by the owner that someone was coming out to check it out, but this either didn’t happen or was not rectified whilst we were out for the day. 」

「Fantastic property, we had everything we needed, host even supplied drinking water, milk, coffee, tea, sugar, shampoo, soap everything you could need, very big space, it was Warm and the host was very informative and friendly, only down side for me was the shower, as i am 6"2 and 18 stone it was quite small, my wife loved it though so you cant please everyone, we would visit again for sure.」

「The property far exceeded our expectations, clean, tidy and warm, it is located in a quiet location on the grounds away from the main house any you feel like your totally self contained. The owner lets you be, and sent just a couple of courteous emails in case we wanted things like change of towels. the property is only about 7min drive to the centre of Canterbury. 」

「It was easy to get into the property. It was very clean with 2 toilets which surprised me! The bed was super comfortable and I slept well. Obviously the 5.30am seagull wake up call, the squawking and marching up and down the roof disturbed but we were at the coast so it is to be expected. We did not really use the park facilities. 」

"The hotel has recently been refurbished but still has the ‘old’ side which you can select the room for stay if you are interested in this historic experience. Those rooms will be available for cheaper prices as well. I chose to stay at the ‘newer’ side for my accommodation this time as they are usually more comfortable for a good night sleep. I was correct and the room looks amazing and spacious too! What a wonderful refurbishment with great designs. Staff were also very helpful and friendly with the hospitality service. Their breakfast or dining area seems lovely although I took it outside instead as there’s so much to do and eat outside the hotel as well. I would loved to stay here once again if I come round for a visit once again. "
