“Hotel was really off route to mainland. Up the mountain (unless thats what youre looking for). The room was a bit rundown for me, but i think thats the character theyre going for. Very dim lighting. Hallway didnt have lights in the night so its pitch black if you wanted to walk out your room. I was using my phone flashlight to put my key in and lock on check out. We had lots of wasps outside our balcony so could not open window for fresh air at night since theres no AC or Fan, so a bit on the……

“It’s up the Grimsel pass about 6 kilometres from Innertkirchen, had a decent spaghetti bolognaise, there’s millions of flies sharing it if you sit outside , it’s not the hotel at fault it’s just Switzerland. Room had a sink in it , nothing else , one shower room and toilet , 13 rooms on the floor we were on , I cannot say how many of these 13 rooms had en suites , if they do not then one shower and one toilet is not enough, £140 for the room is pushing it”

“Hotel Victoria is the best hotel I experienced in my honeymoon journey or even my life, super recommend! I book the hotel by mistake at firsts, since I was finding a hotel in Interlaken. However, I have no regret for staying there 2 nights. First, it is only 25 mins train to Interlaken. “Brekfast looks so old fruit look nasty fly and bug in every well I not expect Expedia select this property now I have to make sure when I book from Expedia this hotel don’t have shop shampoo I ask staff they give me some one use bottle that’s so nasty they charge me 20 Swiss money I don’t know why plz remove from u book list such bad experience hope no one book I never see this kind of bad breakfast in my life”

“I went to Engelberg for a restful weekend of walking and was very happy with my stay. From arrival to departure the ladies who operate the hotel were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, and they are well stocked with comforts like snacks and wine (very fairly priced too!) for late night goodies. I would recommend them and hope to stay again another time.”
