Very peaceful and quiet

Cabin beautifully decorated, very clean, very peaceful. If the goal is a quiet, private, beautiful retreat this is definitely the place and we love everything about this cabin and are very appreciative to the owners for sharing their 'piece of paradise'!

Nice Place on relaxing lake

Property was very clean and had everything we needed. Fire pit area is awesome, and didn’t have to start up the grill because you can cook right over the fire. Pan fish and large mouth right off the dock. Hope to be back.

Hooper's Cabin is our new favorite place

We're somewhat seasoned Northwoods travelers and this is by far our favorite place we've ever stayed. Dad's Lake is so beautiful, serene, and secluded. The house was clean and comfortable. The fire pit area is great and the boats provided were a ton of fun. We will absolutely be back at this rental in the future as long as it's available.

Really enjoyable stay. Well stocked and decorated for a cabin in the north woods. Very private. Good, simple directions. Loved the thoughtful nite lights and ESPECIALLY the can of coffee, when I remembered we forgot bring some. Very well done!

Hidden Gem

Truly a beautiful spot! The lake offered glimpses of eagles, loons, and deer. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, & fishing. The no wake lake allowed our kids to explore without worry. The lake was quiet. The cottage offered beautiful views, plenty of space and activities for down times.

Lovely Cabin

The cabin is comfortably furnished and provides a warm and cozy environment. The lake lot offers nice frontage and allows for privacy. We did notice that past guests did not always thoroughly clean dish ware and utensils but the problem was easily remedied. We would suggest that the description of the cabin clarify that the master bedroom is on the lower level.

Hotter Cabin

Great stay! Great views. Boat, canoe and katak available to use and we used them all. Fire out area was big and had lots if seating and you can cook on it. Swinging grate to go over fire was used for all of our meals. Home was nuce inside. Had nice fireplace to sit and cozy up to. Kitchen well supplied with diahes and cookwear. Washer and dryer with complimentary laundry detergent was very nice. Great stay! Had a great relaxing weak stay.

Peaceful Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotter cottage on Dad's Lake. It was so peaceful and the weather was perfect for our fishing adventures, walks, nights around the firepit and exploring Eagle River. The cottage has a lovely great room that we didn't use much which is a shame as the view of the lake in the morning is gorgeous. I would suggest putting a TV in that room for families to gather and really enjoy the setting. We had a group of 4 and did fine in the smaller living area next to the kitchen, but the early morning sunshine sometimes made it difficult to watch TV. Maybe a shade or blinds could be added here. Loved our week there and the colors were just starting to turn, so it was a sight to see. Recommend highly.
