"The condo was a good fit for a quick up north stay. The location is easy access to town and good dinner options. Everything was clean and all of the essentials are available. The patio is at the back of the property so no water views. Access to Eagle Lake is at the Chanticleer property across the street. If you're looking at a stay in the summer, be aware the air conditioning is through window units, and the upstairs is cooled via a unit in the second bedroom. Because of this you have to run the unit on high to cool the main bedroom along with a fan. This worked just fine for us as it was two adults though could be cumbersome in other circumstances."

"Our second time visiting and loved it again! The location couldn’t be better, you can walk to the downtown area in ten-ish minutes. Grocery store (Trigs) right around the corner too! The neighboring houses are really quiet. The lake is perfect to paddle across to the swimming area. We had a family of 10, and there was plenty of room, and enough lake toys for us all to head out on the lake! The garage had lots of extras too- floaties, life vests, chairs, and more! Thankful for this time away and a great host who was available for anything we needed."
Charming 2-bedroom house with Two Acres of Solitude in Eagle River

"From the outside, the home looks fairly simple, but opening the door reveals such a lovely surprise. My first thought was, “I’ve come home to Grandma’s house.”The décor has a charming 1950s feel, but it’s anything but old or dingy. Everything is fresh, comfortable, and immaculately clean. The furniture and beds are comfortable, the bathroom appears brand new, and the kitchen is cozy, well-appointed, and incredibly organized.The backyard is truly special. It’s the perfect place to sit outside and enjoy nature. I saw deer and, to my absolute delight, a pileated woodpecker! There’s also a tie-out in the backyard, making it easy for your dog to enjoy the outdoors with you.If you’re looking for a sleek, modern luxury home, this may not be your place. But if you’re looking for a cozy, charming, exceptionally clean and comfortable cabin, I highly recommend it. It’s obvious the owner has put a tremendous amount of thought and effort into making guests feel at home—and it shows."

"The host is so helpful and responsive. We had a short power outage while we were staying this year (our 3rd year in a row at this property) and he immediately showed up with a generator and big water jugs to help see us through. We really appreciate everything about this property."

"Excellent lodgings. Everything you could ask for, they have, from the games and outdoor equipment to a well stocked kitchen. We had seven adults and four children, and did not feel crowded at all. And a beautiful view to boot. Just a fantastic place."
