The weather was incredibly windy so we couldn't do much on the creek and lost power due to the insane winds Saturday but it was so lovely to be outside and exploring the area right around the cabin. "A group of retired couples stayed at River's Bend for New Year's weekend. We never left the place and had a fantastic time. Kitchen was well stocked, game room offered ping pong and pool, hiking right from property. The owner even took the trouble of getting 3 kayaks out of winter storage so that we could kayak on an unusually warm New Year's eve day! She was fantastic :)"

"We were in town for a funeral and the house met our needs perfectly. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, though not the exact sizes and distribution in the listing. And we would have liked a little more water pressure for showers, but everything else was great. "A very peaceful and beautiful getaway. Very secluded property with a lovely view of the river. Ideal spot to unwind and enjoy nature. The house is well-stocked, very clean, and really cozy. The host is very thoughtful and even offered to drive me to various hiking spots. There is a very nice trail very close to the house if you don't feel like driving around a lot. I would plan to get groceries before arriving since the grocery store is a bit of a drive. Highly recommend!!"

"We had a comfortable 3 night stay at your River retreat en route to Ohio for the solar eclipse. The weather was unfortunately very cold which restricted our outdoor activities. The cabin was cozy and clean with a very comfortable bed. The only thing missing was a toaster! Thank you."
