“House was as pictured, pristine, coxy and decorative. Enjoyed deck view of the lake, the dock for fishing, ability to house kayaks for inlet travel and the recommendations for boat rentals which we took advantage. Lake swimming available in other parts of the lake where the boat came in handy. The structure in the lake is phenomenal for fishing. The lake is not overcrowded with houses, and thankful for the shorelines that are available. Our host was lovely, supportive, immediately……

“Cabin is fantastic, we saw deer every day and cows all over Host was awesome and getting to feed the Highland cows was unforgettable With limited internet and cell service it was a great few days to unplug.”

“The listing did not mention there was a welcoming crew, a parade of dogs that were beyond excited to see us - and one little gal offered us the biggest dog grin I have ever seen! I wish I had gotten a picture, but it's now a core memory my daughter and I will never forget. Precious!Amy, the host, was beyond gracious in sharing her wisdom with us about raising highland cows. She allowed my husband to join her in moving the cows and was honest and forthcoming about so many aspects of her passion,……

“Very nice place. Only a quick stay for us but it was a beautiful setting and very nice cabin.”

“Joining family en route to Florida, we were looking for accommodations that would allow us to be together to celebrate our first night of vacation. More than just adjoining rooms in a hotel, but a place we could relax and eat together as we anticipated continuing our trip. The Oaks of London Townhome was the perfect place! Keisha and Frank are hosts like none other that we have experienced. Their home is beautiful, well furnished and comfortable... not just a place to stay, but a place to enjoy!……

“This place is the perfect small place to come and go to see all the beautiful things this area has to offer. A tornado came through while we were staying here and the hosts, who live on site, came and got is and told us we could stay in their big house to wait out the storm. Above and beyond hospitality in my opinion. 10/5 excellence.”

“Absolutely stunning views and the home was spotless. Owner definitely cares about his guests and their comfort. Curt is amazing and very knowledgeable and quick to respond to any questions you may have.”

“Very clean and peaceful.”

“We enjoyed the clean cabin and peace and quiet. We were surprised at how new it seemed. We enjoyed the deck in the evenings and read out there. We played games we brought in the evening. PBS are the only TV channels available. It was a great location for all the sites we wanted to visit. Only complaint , our host cancelled one night and did not refund our money. We would highly recommend this place.”

“Perfect place for a secluded getaway, easy access to outdoor activities and great hosts.”

“The property was nice, cute little house, well decorated. Located minutes to the lake and to the little town. In July there is not a view of the lake. A couple doors have holes in them, broken porch chair and there was 3 year old expired eggs in the refrigerator, expired creamer and condiments. House needed a good dusting but bathroom was clean. Toilet ran the whole time. I would recommend staying at this place.”

“Finding any place other than a hotel miles away from where we wanted to be is a challenge in rural KY. This quaint, vintage apartment was clean, provided comfortable bedding and had everything we needed for a quick overnight stay. The restaurant below us had good food and a friendly atmosphere too! We would stay again!”
