"access terrible, 3 levels no lift, very difficult if you have age and mobility against you luggage etc. No offer of help at all. No wifi. Sofa filthy. Tap water unpalatable had to buy bottled water to make a cup of tea. View and bed good. This is the 21st century, overall disappointing."

"Not a good start to my stay became my room hadn't been serviced and jad stale smell. I went down to reception and the receptionist (Meadow i think was her name) volunteered to come up and clean it herself. I asked for another room and she was so helpful and kind to put me in a upgraded room. The rest of my stay here was enjoyable. Thank you Meadow, much appreciated. "

"Great location in Napier centre. Friendly informative check in. Older type property but have done a good job modernising it. We had open plan balcony studio with a huge bed, lots of space and a nice little balcony to sit on. Fridge and microwave in kitchen, the room is also serviced. Enjoyed our stay at Expressotel. "

"Parking so easy. Service at reception wonderful. Room amazing with a view over the waterway, so relaxing to sit and watch the activities below. Quiet, beautifully clean, comfy bed, a perfect night. I booked last minute online due to the hotel I was staying in the first night being so bad I had to shift. What a delight to be in this one, safe, clean and a great nights rest. "
